GOODNESS AND LOVE ALWAYS SEE YOUR TRUE WORTH

What does it truly mean to be considered ‘bad’ by society? Is it simply engaging in harmful or destructive behaviors, or does it go deeper to reflect a lack of empathy and concern for others? While goodness and love may not currently define your actions, take a moment to reflect on the picture you are painting with your choices. Consider yielding to a higher power and shifting your focus from sin, the world, and negativity towards righteousness and standing in front of God with integrity and faith.
What is considered virtuous in the eyes of society is often equated to what is morally right. Being free from debt can be seen as a sign of faith and responsibility. The question of whether fear drives one’s religious practices or actions is a complex one. Do feelings of guilt over sin provoke a sense of fear or excitement within you? Are you living a life that aligns with serving God, promoting goodness, or showing mercy towards others? It is believed that true salvation lies in the purity of one’s actions, rather than simply outward appearances. The desire for spiritual enlightenment and fulfillment is a common human longing. Explore the teachings of Romans 6 for further insight into these profound questions.
Embracing self-compassion and self worth is like building a fortress of kindness to safeguard your mental well-being in life’s challenges. Cultivating a compassionate bond with yourself sets the stage for peace and resilience to thrive, uniting with your heart and the Holy Spirit. Simply put, self-compassion is the gentle guide that lifts you up after a fall, the comforting voice reminding you it’s alright to be imperfect. Delve into the depths of self-compassion and awareness, and witness your mental health bloom like a vibrant garden. Know that God sees your thoughts and feelings, and desires your presence with Him now.

WELCOME YOUR FRESH START

In simpler terms, when we choose to follow Jesus, we leave our old sinful selves behind and live a new life dedicated to God. Sin no longer controls us; we are free to serve God and live in righteousness. We are no longer slaves to sin but instead servants of God, bearing fruit that leads to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Remember, the consequences of sin are death, but God offers us the gift of eternal life.

In Romans 6, we are reminded of the transformative power of God’s love. Through Jesus Christ, we are able to break free from the chains of sin and embrace a new life dedicated to righteousness. As we choose to serve God, we are no longer slaves to our sinful nature but instead become servants of righteousness. By bearing fruit that leads to eternal life, we are able to experience the true freedom and joy that comes from living in alignment with God’s will. Romans 6 serves as a powerful reminder of the incredible gift of grace and redemption that God offers to each and every one of us.

BREAK THE BONDS OF SIN

Living a righteous life is essential for believers as sin should not have dominion over them. Paul emphasizes the need for a new life post-baptism, steering away from the old self. Victory over sin lies in understanding our identity in Christ, aligning ourselves with God’s perspective. Cooperating with God’s grace is key to experiencing transformation and receiving His abundant blessings. Jesus Christ’s sacrifice offers deliverance from sin and condemnation, providing fellowship, hope, and eternal purpose. By embracing undeserved grace, we can break free from sinful practices as God’s mercy forgives and His grace empowers. The struggle against sin is akin to battling the body of sin, representative of the flesh’s dominion by sin. Refusing to let sin reign in our mortal bodies is crucial, aligning our lives with Christ’s victory over sin and death.
Sin always leads to sin and death, remember? Let it go and serve righteousness. The result of righteousness, given freely to us in Jesus Christ, is to become like Christ and experience eternal life. Live for that, Paul urges us, instead of for the things of death that sin brings (Romans 6:15–23). Shame and death. Paul described those as the consequences, or “fruit,” of a life lived free of the control of righteousness. Slavery to sin always leads to shame and, eventually, death. Paul’s readers in Rome, however, left that life behind. So, then, Paul says here that when a person trusts in Christ for salvation, that person is baptized in the Holy Spirit into Christ’s death. We die with Him. This spiritual death and twinning with the Holy Spirit breaks sin’s rule over us and frees us from our need to obey our sinful desires. “Sin shall not be master over you,” he continues in Romans 6:14, “for you are not under law, but under grace.” Life “under grace” is not an invitation to sin, because life “under grace” is life “in Christ,” which is the death knelt to sin in all its manifestations. Christ’s death and the power of God’s spirit gives us that control. Those who are saved can only sin by choosing to do so. Instead, Paul writes, we must present our bodies to God to be used for righteousness. In fact, we should do it on purpose like people who have been brought from death to life. We must no longer think of ourselves as self-reliant, self-serving, independent operators. Instead, as people in Christ, we must think of ourselves as dead to sin and alive to God in Christ.
He commands those in Christ to present their members, bodies, minds, will, heart and soul to be obedient in the service of righteousness. Follow the strengths of your born-again heart and mind guided by the Spirit, navigating the path towards righteousness with courage and conviction, and embracing the power of virtuous living. Let your actions speak volumes about your character, standing tall upright in the face of challenges with self-compassion and integrity as your guiding light. Choosing the high road in a world full of temptation, be a beacon of inspiration for those seeking the true essence of goodness and virtue. In Romans 6, Paul delves into the foundational doctrines of the Gospel, addressing sin’s nature and penalty, living a life free from sin, the importance of water baptism, and the necessity of sanctification. Reflecting on the spiritual transaction that occurred when we were saved, Paul highlights the death and burial with Christ we experienced on a spiritual level, followed by God raising us from that spiritual death just as He raised Christ from physical death. It is emphasized that without trusting Jesus for freedom, sin will ultimately lead to spiritual death, highlighting the importance of seeking forgiveness to avoid eternal separation from Him. The journey towards righteousness is a path of freedom and redemption that can only be found through a deep connection with Christ.

EMBRACE THE POWER OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

Unleash the power of your spirit and confidently walk the path of righteousness with unwavering conviction. Embrace virtuous living and let your actions reflect the depth of your character. Stand strong in the face of adversity, knowing that self-compassion and integrity will lead you towards the brightness of truth. In a world teeming with vexations, always choose the noble path and shine as a beacon of inspiration for those seeking the essence of goodness and righteous virtue. Without worry look into crucial Gospel teachings, covering the nature and consequences of sin, the possibility of living sin-free, the significance of being born again, and the importance of sanctification. A spiritual metamorphosis takes place upon salvation, where we undergo a symbolic death and resurrection with Christ, gaining freedom from the shackles of sin through our trust in Him. Failure to trust in Jesus results in spiritual death, forever separating us from His grace.

By receiving undeserved grace, God works to free us from sin, with mercy forgiving sin and grace overcoming it. We are offered the opportunity to have our sin absorbed by Jesus, who never sinned, displaying God’s love for us.

In Romans 6:23, Jesus Christ delivers believers from sin and condemnation, granting fellowship, hope, and purpose for now and eternity. Through the grace of God, we are liberated from sin and shown that the Law highlights our sins, as none can keep it perfectly. Those enslaved by sin face spiritual and eternal death, while those obedient to Christ find righteousness.

DISCOVER THE PATH TO SPIRITUAL RENEWAL

May the Lord grant His people the strength to resist worldly temptations and to faithfully follow Him with pure hearts and humble minds through Jesus Christ. In 1 Peter 5, we are reminded to stand firm in our faith against the devil, trusting in the Lord’s power to fight our battles. Church elders are called to lead by example, guiding others in their Christian journey. Peter’s letter offers comfort and encouragement to believers, urging them to place their hope in Christ and trust Him even in times of suffering. Just as Job endured unjust suffering, believers are encouraged to persevere and live according to God’s will. In 1 Peter 5:7, we are reassured that by casting our worries upon God, we are relieved of their weight and reminded of His care for us.
A guide for speaking with God: Understand the importance of developing a personal relationship with Him, show gratitude for His blessings, align your desires with His plan, communicate your deepest desires and fears, seek forgiveness for your shortcomings, find strength in praying with a fellow believer, and find peace through reflecting on His teachings in the Scriptures.

HUMILITY: THE KEY TO GOD'S GRACE

Emulate Christ’s unwavering resilience in the face of adversities to deepen your connection with Him and discover newfound meaning on your path of faith. Open your heart to the strength and perseverance exemplified by Christ, allowing it to guide you through challenges and lead you towards a more profound understanding of your spiritual journey. By mirroring His endurance and reflecting His determination, you can navigate through life’s obstacles with grace and fortitude, embracing each trial as an opportunity for growth and spiritual enlightenment.
Emphasizing the importance of humility in all relationships, 1 Peter 5 highlights the need for both young and old to maintain a teachable and correctable attitude, avoiding prideful behaviors that God resists. By clothing yourselves with humility and casting anxiety on God, you can experience His grace and strength in due time. Remember to be self-controlled, alert, and seek peace through prayer, knowing that the peace of God will guard your hearts and minds.

THE PATH TO SALVATION

We are intricately crafted by God for His divine purposes, designed to carry out good works as a reflection of our salvation in Christ. God, as a skilled artisan, has already determined the path of righteousness He has called us to walk, shaping us into His masterpiece with a purposeful hand. Through grace and faith in Jesus, we are saved not by our own merits, but by the redeeming work of Christ. Ephesians 2:10 serves as a powerful reminder that each individual is intentionally created by God, with our careers included in His divine plan. Paul’s teachings in chapter two emphasize the transformation from spiritual death to life through God’s grace, leading us to fulfill the good works He has prepared for us in advance.
Saved by God’s grace through faith, we receive the gift of salvation freely. None of us deserves this unmerited favor, but God’s love invites us into a relationship with Him. Grace is favor, receiving what we don’t deserve. Our salvation is by mercy and grace, prepared by God for us to walk in good works. To invite the Holy Spirit, we engage in meaningful prayer, study Christ’s words, obey diligently, honor covenants, and live in virtue, humility, and service.
Pray
“Father, I love you, thanks for all the beauty and favor you have ever shown me, I pray in Jesus’ name; I am still an active work in progress, but I am grateful for the positive changes and challenges in my life. Thank you for Jesus and the Spirit guiding me towards salvation, and especially the Word and its promise. I am able to do good works because of your endless love and unwavering grace. I am eager to know you well!”
Amen

Embrace Salvation with Humility and Gratitude.

Experience the transformative power of God’s grace through faith, as we embrace the gift of salvation with humility and gratitude. God’s unmerited favor shines upon us, allowing us to receive blessings beyond our deserving. Our journey towards salvation is guided by the mercy and grace of God, overshadowing our shortcomings. Let us walk in the good works prepared for us, as we open our hearts to the Holy Spirit through prayer, studying Christ’s teachings, diligent obedience, faithful covenant keeping, and the practice of virtue, humility, and service.
Grace is a gift from God, not something we can create on our own. Jesus taught that we can only come to Him if the Father draws us.

BY GRACE ALONE

Embracing God's Grace

Discovering the depth of God’s grace opens the door to a journey of self-discovery and transformation. Embracing the concept of grace allows us to embrace our imperfections and strive for growth with compassion and humility. Let go of judgment and embrace the unending love and forgiveness that comes with embracing God’s grace.
How can I incorporate Ephesians 2 into my daily life? God is not stingy; He freely bestows upon us abundant spiritual and material blessings. We are called to emulate His generosity by sharing with others as He has graciously shared with us.
Faith is an integral part of the gift His grace bestowed on us.

The main message of Ephesians emphasizes that believers in Christ are reconciled not only to God, but also to each other. It encourages them to maintain unity within their families and church, while resisting the temptations of the world around them.

Embrace the power of unity and reconciliation in Christ’s love, as Ephesians teaches us to maintain harmony within our families and church community. Let us stand united against the distractions and challenges of the world, drawing strength from our shared faith in God. Together, we can embody the virtues of compassion, righteousness, and grace, reflecting the transformative power of Christ’s unwavering love in our lives.

UNIFY IN CHRIST'S LOVE

Divine Miracles Unfolding

God is doing a new thing all around us. God is breaking down strongholds, transforming dark places into light places, and making hardened hearts into soft and compassionate hearts. God is giving wealth to the impoverished, bread to the hungry, water to the thirsty, hope to the hopeless, and faith to the faithless. In His infinite grace and mercy, God is showering blessings upon all who seek His love and redemption, guiding them towards a path of peace, joy, and eternal salvation. Through His divine power, God is orchestrating miracles that defy human understanding, bringing forth a renewed sense of hope and purpose to all who believe in His omnipotent goodness.
By living out our love for God through our actions towards others, we demonstrate the depth of our faith and commitment to following in Jesus’ footsteps.
2 Corinthians teaches us that in the midst of affliction, we can find comfort (2 Cor. 1:3–7). It shows us that even in times of insufficiency, there is sufficiency (3:1–6), and through death, we can experience true life (4:7–15). Suffering can lead to blessings (6:3–10), grief can ultimately bring about salvation (7:2–10), and poverty can result in abundance (8:1–2, 9, 14). Additionally, hardship can be a cause for boasting (11:16–30), demonstrating that difficult circumstances can lead to unexpected outcomes.
To achieve purity of the heart, one must be cleansed by the Spirit and the Word. Putting God first in every thought, word, and action is essential. Despite temptations, staying rooted in God’s Word, acknowledging our sins, repenting when we fall short, and seeking His forgiveness will lead us to a pure heart.

Embarking on a Transformation Journey

JOURNEY INTO DIVINE GRACE

Now, the concept of being ‘poor in spirit’ delves into a deeper truth beyond mere physical impoverishment, focusing on genuine spiritual lack. Being poor in spirit entails recognizing our profound human need for God and nurturing that yearning and dependence on a daily basis. In receiving a new life, Jesus grants us this transformation by triumphing over death once and for all, as Peter elucidates, “Through his immense mercy, he has brought us forth into a new existence filled with hope, achieved through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead” (1 Peter 1:3).
How does our love for Jesus change how we treat others? How can we show our love for God and people in what we do every day? Our love for Jesus should serve as the foundation for all our interactions with others, leading us to treat them with kindness, compassion, and respect.
Every gesture of kindness and compassion extended to others serves as a beautiful testament to the love we hold in our hearts for God, reflecting the transformative power of His divine love that guides and shapes our lives. Let us continue to walk in His footsteps, spreading love and light wherever we go, for in doing so, we bring a piece of heaven down to earth.

The first chapter of 1 Corinthians emphasizes unity and humility within the church community, discouraging division and promoting adherence to spiritual values over worldly ideals. It calls believers to live their lives in a way that glorifies God in all their actions, reminding them that while all things may be permissible, not all things are beneficial or edifying. The power of God unto salvation is highlighted as the only message that can lead individuals to everlasting safety and joy in the presence of a holy and glorious God, urging them to place their hope in the Lord for renewed strength and endurance. This chapter challenges believers to evaluate every aspect of their lives through the lens of the Gospel, seeking spiritual growth and alignment with God’s will.
I reflect the righteousness of Jesus. Believers are encouraged to test the spirits to discern their origin, while also understanding that God is love and calls us to love one another. We are children of God and have overcome, as He who is within us is greater than he who is in the world. By confessing Jesus Christ as having come in the flesh, we align with God, whereas denying this truth reveals a spirit of the Antichrist. Love in 1 John 4 is exemplified by God’s love for us, sending His Son for our forgiveness, prompting us to love one another. True life is found only in Jesus, offering not just physical life but also eternal, abundant, and spiritual life for those who trust in Him. The Word, existing from the beginning and with God, is the source of life and light for all mankind.

Whoever Drinks From The Water I Give Will Never Thirst Again

By acknowledging God’s presence through the gift of His Spirit, we can confidently approach Him with our hearts, words, and actions, offering genuine worship in spirit and truth.

True worship involves seeking God with spirit and truth, as He is a spirit Himself. To worship God in spirit, start your day with Him, pray intentionally, express gratitude, transform complaints into praise, appreciate His creation, show love to others, and love yourself. Approach God as a child, thanking Him for the gift of His Spirit, allowing you to worship sincerely through your heart, words, and actions. Cultivate a deep sense of connection with God through daily spiritual practices, such as meditation, reading sacred texts, participating in community worship, and serving those in need. Jesus is risen,

Matthew 28:19-20  “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

ACTIVELY FILLING OUR MINDS

ACTIVELY FILLING OUR MINDS

UNLOCKING DIVINE VICTORY

When we immerse ourselves in the joy of knowing the Lord, we strengthen our ability to combat temptation, resist the influence of Satan, and navigate through challenging circumstances that may lead us astray. By focusing on the pleasures that come from our relationship with God, we equip ourselves with the spiritual fortitude needed to stay grounded in our faith and walk uprightly proud in a world filled with distractions and trials. When our hearts are filled with the goodness and grace of the Lord, we find the inner strength to stand firm against sin, reject the temptations of the enemy, and overcome any obstacles that threaten to lead us astray from the favor of the path of righteousness. Demand is unceasing and time relentless, while your desire is fully known to God and He knows your true heart He waits now.
Walking in victory over sin is not an easy journey, but a journey profitable to be taking. In Romans 6, we are reminded of three key principles that can guide us in our pursuit of righteousness and freedom from sin. By understanding our identity in Christ, embracing the power of His resurrection, and living in the freedom that comes from being dead to sin, the past person is dead we are anew, we can walk in victory each day. Let us set our hearts on the path of righteousness, trusting in the grace of God to gift us to our rightful place now in a prosperous life of purpose, joy, and freedom.
We are the disciples and we-in-Christ, the Body of Christ; the one true church universal wield His power and will on earth. Join us. Romans 6 guides us on how to tap into the power, favor, and blessings of God, which are generously given to us through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. This chapter serves as a roadmap for achieving victory over sin in our daily lives. True transformation commences by understanding our identity in Christ, viewing ourselves through God’s eyes in Christ. While God offers us ample grace to pour into the vessel of our existence, He expects our collaboration in receiving it. We must actively engage embracing His grace in the Spirit, as He will not fulfill our responsibilities, and we cannot fulfill His.

I want to deliver you ten intrinsic principles outlined by Paul on how to achieve victory over sin. The first principle, we call the “renewal of mind principle” (Rom. 6:11), emphasizes the importance of understanding our identity in Christ and the blessings we have received through confessing Him. We are to see ourselves as vibrant to God standing in the realm of God, recognizing our complete renewal, acceptance and joy in His presence, our authority through Jesus, and the Spirit indwelling us. The peace of the Spirit is twinned in our spirit right from the moment of our spiritual rebirth (Gal. 5:22). By acknowledging and expressing gratitude for this peace in the Spirit, we can access and release it to our flesh, our mind, soul and emotions, aligning inner knowing in harmony and tranquility.

A second principle to know we call the “standing in the word principle” (Rom 6:12-13). We are to resist sin, Satan,, demons, evil and sin provoking or tempting circumstances. We resist the inward inclinations of sins deceptions and the scheming lies of Satan by actively practicing our faith while imagining the Word which lines up with our born again Spirit. Our decisions witnessed in our hearts by the Spirit. By walking in victory over sin, we demonstrate our love for God by renewal of mind and soul, by allowing it to happen (John 14:15, 21-23), You have to want it and you will prove it easily with the help calling within you now. Your warranted real desires will be met. By avoiding situations that trigger sinful passions or habituations, such as certain places, things, people or conversations, we uphold our commitment to faith, resisting temptation and honoring God with our choices.

The “active works principle”, is the third; as mentioned in Romans 6:13, calls us to present ourselves as instruments onto righteousness unto God, offering our bodies sacrificed unto sin, alive and active for His work in discipling others. Emphasizing the importance of loving God wholeheartedly and cultivating intimacy with Him, we are then able to extend God’s love and knowledge to people by allowing ourselves to be vessels of His Spirit for the benefit of all. Through serving and relating to both God and others with love, we fulfill our purpose as brothers and sisters of Jesus and followers in community. For today we can rest in these three for these discussions if you want open this link and bookmark it for later Teacher’s Commentary on the Ten Intrinsic Principles of Victory Over Sin

When we focus on the joy and fulfillment found in knowing God, we have the strength to reject harmful temptations more effectively. By avoiding situations that lead us towards sin, as advised by Paul in Romans 6:13, we can prevent ourselves from falling into wrongdoing. Recognize your weaknesses and steer clear of environments that provoke sinful behavior. Resist the urge to give in to sinful desires and choose to walk away from detrimental circumstances. When we immerse ourselves in the joy of knowing the Lord, we empower ourselves to overcome sin, temptation, and situations that lead us astray. Any journey is the act of stepping outside what is normal, step up and step out shining in all glory as you will.
So we must know truth, resist evil, and pursue God with all our hearts. We demonstrate our love for God and people by standing firm in faith against sin, the schemes of Satan, and any temptation that may come our way. By growing in our understanding of our identity in Jesus Christ, we can experience the heart of God as a loving Father and the heart of Jesus as a devoted Bridegroom. These three intrinsic principles are essential for walking head-up in victory over sin and living a life characterized by love and productivity in Christ. It is crucial that we do not neglect any of these aspects, as they work together synergistically to transform our lives. When we prioritize seeking God’s will, finding joy in His presence, and walking in knowing, we open ourselves up to the powerful work of the Holy Spirit in renewing our minds and guiding our every step, at a pace we will accept.

At our core, everyone of us were made ready to talk with God, disrupted by a lifestyle that defines us night and day. Our culture prioritizes distractions like phones, entertainment, travel , online activities and constant tainted cable news. Yet, these choices leave us unfulfilled, with a deeper hunger inside, voices vying to be heard, seen and recognized now amidst your busyness. God has spoken to you before, having listened what would have occured to follow? Quiet is a place to find to actively meditate on the Word listening for and communicating your desire, heart to heart with God in Jesus’ name guided by the Holy Spirit. Pray out loud clearly asking for God to help you and guide you now for what you must have, must know. God wants you to prosper in all aspects of life now in this life.
If we don’t pause to listen, we may miss out on important things. Without asking the right questions, we won’t find the answers we seek. Consider this: God has spoken to you before and does that wonder still await you now? Who would we be, what direction would we have taken without these constant distractions? There is a void within us that noise, material possessions and our hectic lifestyle cannot fill. It is in this emptiness that the Word of God offers guidance and comfort, reminding us to prepare for the presence of the Lord in our lives.
To prepare to invite the Lord’s presence, we must intentionally create a sacred space where we can commune with Him, free from distractions and mental clutter. By consciously clearing the path to our hearts, we open ourselves up to receiving the Holy Spirit and making God our top priority. In our fast-paced and technology-driven world, it is crucial to establish boundaries by disconnecting from phones and devices to truly focus on our relationship with the divine.

EMBRACING YOUR TRUE IDENTITY IN CHRIST

By making time for God and removing distractions, we open our hearts through the Holy Spirit to His glory and experience the love that only He can provide. God is a Spirit and we speak to him inspirit.

Know he will only ask for what you can give in all faith and are ready for in time. Allow Him to illuminate on anything restricting your vision of the path and instruct you on how to respond to vexing habituations or persons in your spheres of influence.

REVEALING THE DEPTHS OF TRUTH

Do you see yourself truly embraced by the righteousness of Jesus or are you still haunted by the shadows of your past mistakes? The roots of shame can be traced back to the dawn of creation, when Adam and Eve felt the weight of the disconnect from their perfect harmony with God after the fall. Their eyes were opened to their vulnerability and they sought to hide their nakedness. When our fundamental belief is tainted with self-doubt, we find ourselves striving endlessly for validation and acceptance, trapped in the grip of legalism where we think we must earn God’s love. On the other extreme lies immorality, whispering that it is futile to even make an effort if we are inherently flawed. In all truth you know your one true heart and exactly the reasons why you are standing in place, while immobilized by not knowing, what you seek and truly desire is right there within you now.

God the Father has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly places in Christ. He chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world, so that we should be holy and blameless before Him in love. Through Christ Jesus, He has adopted us into His family, all to the praise and glory of His grace. This is how He has made us acceptable in the Beloved (see Ephesians 1:3-6).
Discover the profound truth about who we are in Christ as chosen by God for His high calling, to be holy people and instruments of His work. Learn how our heavenly Father has removed our shame and clothed us in the righteousness of Christ, a robe put on us all that will by God through faith. Experience the powerful scene in Zechariah where Joshua, the high priest, is accused by Satan.(Zechariah 3:1–4)
Remember that no matter the evil accusations of the enemy, Now and in all truth Jesus stands as our defender and declares us righteous and blameless before God. He covers us with His love and grace, reassuring us of our worth and value in His eyes. The spirit indwells us and guides us to the path, trust in His intercession, knowing that He fights for us and declares us His beloved children. He knows your heart. The name of Satan means “the accuser.” In Revelation 12:10, Satan accuses us day and night before God. His followers called demons also accuse all. The accuser says, “You’re not good enough. you should not, You should, You’re a loser and will never measure up or have merit.” However, Hebrews 7:25 tells us that Jesus, our advocate, always lives to intercede on our behalf. Jesus says, “Father, I’ve clothed My beloved ones in My robes of righteousness. They are holy and without blame.” Standing in the Word knowing is a great place to be.
I have too good to be true good news for you! God doesn’t aim to perfect us in our weaknesses but instead uses any self perceived deficiency to teach us to rely on Him in all humility. God has already chosen all of us and anoints even especially the least of us, because witnessed our hearts reflected the Spirit. This allows His life Spirit to increase through us as we decrease the carnal patterns of the old mindfulness and fleshy soulish ways. Just like Paul, who endured a thorn in his side to prevent him from becoming too proud. He learned that God’s grace is enough favor and His strengths shine through our weaknesses. So, we can boast in our weaknesses, knowing that Christ’s power rests upon us, is actioned by us. This means finding joy in challenges, insults, needs, persecutions, and distress, all for Christ’s sake. In our weakness, His strength is revealed. (2 Corinthians 12:7–10)

Embracing the truth of our identity in-Christ as beloved children of God enables us to walk in confidence and freedom, breaking free from the chains of shame and embracing the abundant life God has destined for us. As we deepen our understanding of God’s love and grace, we find strength and courage to live out our purpose with boldness and conviction, spreading His love to those around us and His light through us shining as beacons of hope in a world filled with darkness. Let all your light shine.

How do we overcome the convictions of guilt-based thinking and begin to see ourselves as the true sons and daughters of God clothed in His robes of righteousness?

The principle of renewing the mind emphasizes the importance of transforming our thoughts and perspectives. By embracing new ways of thinking, we can enhance our understanding and improve our overall well-being. This process not only enriches our lives but also empowers us to make more thoughtful decisions in various aspects of our existence.

Growing in our knowing and our faith based on the understanding of God’s unfailing love and word are the primary keys. The depth of our knowledge equal to our faith. Once we truly comprehend, discern and receive the depth of God’s love, we can fulfill His plan of loving and walking with Him in all of our Spirit: heart, soul, mind, and strength, along with genuinely loving others as ourselves while avoiding vexations. Ephesians expresses the dynamics of God strengthening our faith, which increases our capacity for surrendering to God’s love and results in us all being filled with more of Him (Ephesians 3:16–19). Lovely or not God loves you, God is love and he knows your true heart in all light. While He waits for you now.

Unleash the power of your moral compass and confidently walk the path of righteousness with unwavering conviction. Embrace virtuous living and let your actions reflect the depth of your character. Stand strong in the face of adversity, knowing that self-compassion and integrity will lead you towards the brightness of truth. In a world teeming with temptations, always choose the noble path and shine as a beacon of inspiration for those seeking the essence of goodness and righteous virtue. Paul in Romans 6 delves into crucial Gospel teachings, covering the nature and consequences of sin, the possibility of living sin-free, the significance of water baptism, and the importance of sanctification. A spiritual metamorphosis takes place upon salvation, where we undergo a symbolic death and resurrection with Christ, gaining freedom from the shackles of sin through our trust in Him. Failure to trust in Jesus results in spiritual death, forever separating us from His grace.

DIVINE INSIGHTS: INNER REFLECTIONS

If you feel hindered by habituations in your mind, heart, and emotional responses preventing you from hearing from the Lord, ask for His grace and courage to express your pain. Imagine if the habits, practices, people, or places within you could speak, what would they say? Trust in Jesus and the Holy Ghost for protection and surrender your life to our heavenly Father, who will use all experiences for your good.

Beloved, have you embraced the transformation from a caterpillar of sin to a butterfly freed in the Spirit born-from-above a beautiful new creation in Jesus Christ? Can you see yourself in the metamorphosis, become the right standing in Gods’ eyes. Imagine you the caterpillar or cocoon to soaring with grace in spirit, leaving behind the sin nature of the past and embracing the limitless possibilities of the power of your divine identity? In your spirit become the righteousness of Jesus, born from above. anew. today, and the rest will come.

Lit up, prospering in Word and Spirit, you are Gods’ Desire.

Pray
Thank you, Lord, for Your abundant blessings and for those who acknowledge You; come, Holy Spirit, Amen. Firmly rooted and established in love, grant me the ability to grasp the immeasurable dimensions of Christ’s love, which transcends all understanding, and let me be filled with the fullness of God. In Jesus’ name.
Amen

Romans 7 & 8: Living in the Freedom of Christ—The Law of Christ After the Cross

As we open the pages of Romans, particularly in chapters 7 and 8, we stand before two powerful revelations that shape our lives in Christ. Romans 7 brings us face-to-face with the painful tension of the old self under the law, while Romans 8 unveils the glorious freedom of life in the Spirit. It’s in these chapters that we understand not just what Jesus has done for us, but how He has completely redefined what it means to live, to love, and to walk in the fullness of God’s promises.

Let’s talk about Romans 7 first. The apostle Paul gives us a vivid picture of the struggle between the flesh and the law. It’s a familiar scene for many of us: the inner battle, the frustration of wanting to do good, but being overwhelmed by our own weakness. Paul himself speaks of this in verses 18-19:
“For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.”

Is this not the story of so many of us? We know the good we should do, we want to honor God, but time and again we find ourselves stumbling. This is the reality of living under the law—it brings us face-to-face with our sinfulness. The law is holy and righteous, but it exposes us. It shows us where we fall short. It doesn’t give us the power to change; it merely reveals our inability to keep it. We are trapped in this cycle of striving and failing.

But, and here’s the turning point, this is not the end of the story! The beauty of Romans 7 is that it drives us to Romans 8, where everything changes. Paul himself exclaims in Romans 7:24-25,
“O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

And that brings us to Romans 8. I can’t think of a more life-changing chapter in the Bible. It starts with these words:
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”

In a single sentence, Paul shifts everything. The condemnation we deserve because of our sin is now removed, not because we are perfect, but because we are in Christ. This is the foundation of everything we are and everything we do in Christ: there is no condemnation. Jesus has taken our place; He bore the penalty of the law so that we no longer have to.

A New Law: The Law of the Spirit

Romans 8 moves us from the death we faced under the law to the life we now have in the Spirit. No longer bound by the written code, no longer trapped by sin, we are now free to live according to the Spirit of Christ. We’ve been liberated from the penalty of sin, and we’re now empowered to walk in victory. Romans 8:2 declares:
“For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.”

This is the law of Christ after the cross. Under the law, we were slaves to sin, constantly reminded of our failures. But in Christ, the Spirit comes to indwell us, making us partakers of His nature, teaching us how to live as children of God, not slaves to sin. The law of the Spirit is a law that sets us free and gives us the power to live the life God intended for us. It is the life of freedom, peace, and joy. It is no longer about striving in our own strength, but about surrendering to the Spirit’s work in us.

Romans 8: The Greatest Chapter in the Bible

Let’s pause here. I truly believe Romans 8 stands as one of the greatest chapters in all of Scripture because it reveals the heart of God’s plan for us. It’s not just about the future salvation of our souls—it’s about our present, moment-by-moment experience of salvation in Christ. Romans 8:28 is a verse that offers immense hope and assurance:
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

This verse is not just a hopeful sentiment; it is a promise from God. Every circumstance, every trial, every setback—God is using it all for our good. This doesn’t mean that everything will feel good, or that it will all make sense immediately, but it does mean that God, in His infinite wisdom and love, is working in all things to bring about His good purposes for us. This is part of our calling, part of the hope we have in Christ.

Let me say this clearly: God’s plans for you are only and always good. Everything He does in your life is for your ultimate good, even when it doesn’t feel like it. That is the bedrock of our faith—God is good, and He is good all the time. So, when you face struggles, when you walk through the hardest seasons, hold on to this truth: God is working it all for your good. The struggle might be real, but the victory is already secured in Christ.

Romans 8:30 – The Promise of Glory

I want to draw your attention to Romans 8:30:
“Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.”

This is a powerful chain of salvation. God knew us before time, He called us to Himself, He justified us through the blood of Christ, and He will one day glorify us with Him. This is the unbreakable chain of God’s love for us. It begins with God’s purpose, and it ends with us sharing in His glory. This is the culmination of our salvation—not just forgiveness, not just a relationship with God, but a sharing in His glory. Can you wrap your mind around that? We are destined for glory.

Discussion Points:

  1. The Law of Christ vs. The Law of Sin and Death
Romans 7 shows the law’s inability to save us, while Romans 8 reveals the power of the Spirit. How does living by the law of the Spirit change the way we approach life? How does it transform our understanding of freedom?
  2. No Condemnation in Christ Jesus
Reflect on the meaning of “no condemnation” in Romans 8:1. How does this truth change the way you view your mistakes and failures? How does this shape your relationship with God?
  3. God’s Good Purpose in All Things
Romans 8:28 gives us a powerful promise that all things work together for good. Have you experienced a time when something difficult later revealed God’s purpose for good? How can you trust in this promise during challenging seasons?
  4. The Call to Live in the Spirit
Romans 8 makes it clear that the Christian life is about walking in the Spirit. What does it mean for you to “live in the Spirit”? How can you actively nurture a deeper relationship with the Holy Spirit?

Challenge: Living with Radical Faith

Here’s the fresh challenge for you today: Live with a faith that is radically present, hope-filled, authentic, and sacrificial. Your salvation is not just a future hope; it’s a present reality that shapes every moment of your life. Live in the power of the Spirit. Embrace the truth that there is no condemnation in Christ, and trust that God is working all things together for your good. Don’t wait for the perfect circumstances—start living the abundant life today, trusting in God’s good plan for you.

Conclusion:

As we reflect on Romans 7 and 8, remember this: Christ has set you free from the law of sin and death. You no longer live under the condemnation of the law, but under the freedom of the Spirit. And because of that, all things are working together for your good, as you are called according to God’s purpose. Trust in His plan, walk in the Spirit, and know that His good plans for you are unfolding with every step you take.

Your authentic path has been known to you all along, nestled deep in your heart. The distinction between right and wrong, good and bad, has always been clear within your soul. Wherever life may take you, your inner spirit will guide and define you.
Dive deep into the depths of your soul, where the essence of Christ resides. Uncover the power and strength that lies within you, waiting to be unleashed. Embrace the love and grace that surrounds you, guiding you on your journey. Imagine yourself in Christ Jesus, living out the truth of 1 Corinthians 15:56 with every breath you take. Let your light shine brightly, illuminating the path for all to see. Walk boldly in faith, knowing that you are never alone. Embrace the transformative power of Christ within you, and watch as miracles unfold in your life.

1 Corinthians 15:56-57
The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Death stings us because we know the root cause is our sin, leading to the sting of death being sin and the strength of sin being the law. The power of sin twists God’s good law, urging us to break it; Jesus, the Son of God, is our Redeemer and Mediator.

Pray:
Dear Father, Glory be to you, In the name of Jesus we ask; thank you for revealing the mystery of what is to come, guiding us to anticipate the moment of transformation. He who died on the cross to atone for our sins became the firstfruits of the Resurrection.
Amen
I am the least of the apostles, not worthy to be called an apostle, as I once persecuted the church. But by God’s grace, I am what I am because of His unfailing love. I worked harder than anyone, but it was all through God’s grace within me. If there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not risen, and our faith is in vain. Yet, Christ has risen, bringing hope and new life to all who believe in Him. Just as sin entered through one man, so too came the resurrection of the dead through one man, Christ. In Christ, all shall be made alive in their proper time. 1 Corinthians 15 9-23
We are reminded of our journey to reflect God’s perfect image, constantly striving to embody His flawless nature. The profound idea of a “sting” powerfully illustrates the deep pain caused by sin, where death looms as the devastating outcome. In the grip of sin, every flicker of hope is snuffed out, a malevolent force that ultimately leads to spiritual demise.
Always present and waiting to be discovered. Within you lies the very answers you seek. Your true destiny is an inherent part of who you are, known to you in the depths of your heart. Your place. Your soul and the spirit of your heart define your journey, guiding you towards the future that only you-in Jesus and the Spirit with-in can envision. The perception of yourself shapes your reality, as your thoughts manifest into your being. Embrace your beliefs, desires, and identity, for they hold the power to shape your life’s manifestations.

See you whole, all of you and all of you in good favor, you in grace abundant as you will and as you will imagine in this life now.

HONORING FELLOW BELIEVERS - The Power of Belief

Discover the meaning of Romans 6 verse 1 and learn how to experience the power and blessings of God in your life. Paul emphasizes the importance of not continuing in sin but embracing the grace that overcomes all wrongdoing. By applying Romans 6 to your life, you can walk in victory over sin and be a beacon of God’s justice and grace to others. Let the life-giving power of God’s grace build up both you and your community in Christ.
Romans 1:16–17 serves as a key summary of the book of Romans, boldly declaring why Paul is unashamed of the gospel of Jesus that he preaches worldwide. This message embodies the power of God for all who believe. In Romans 16, believers are encouraged to greet one another warmly and to be wary of those who sow division and disrupt the teachings they have received. Taking a vigilant stance against such individuals is crucial, as they aim to create discord and incite conflict among fellow believers.

THE ESSENCE WITHIN YOU WAITS NOW FOR GOD WHILE HE WAITS FOR YOU

The Bible reveals God’s profound love for humanity through the gospel message, emphasizing the opportunity for forgiveness and eternal fellowship with Him. Delving into the Scriptures, you understand the universal need for salvation (Romans 3:23), the accessibility of salvation for all (Romans 1:16), and God’s desire for the redemption of every individual (2 Peter 3:9).

THE PATH TO SALVATION: ACCEPTING JESUS CHRIST AS SAVIOR

What sets us apart from God is sin. Regardless of our perceived goodness, each individual is burdened by sin (1 John 1:10). As God is flawlessly perfect, no one merits eternal residence in heaven. Rather, we merit eternal separation from Him (Romans 5:16). No amount of labor, virtuous acts, wealth, skills, or accomplishments can absolve us of this culpability (Isaiah 64:6). Thankfully, God does not desire our separation from Him, hence He provided a solution to mend what is broken (John 3:16-17).
The one and only way is through faith in Jesus Christ. (John 14:6) God Himself came to earth as a human, living a perfect and sinless life(Hebrews 4:15). He willingly died as a sacrifice to pay the debt for our sins(2 Corinthians 5:21). According to the Scriptures, anyone can be saved, forgiven by God and guaranteed heaven, through faith in Jesus Christ(Romans 10:13). This isn’t a call for blind, ignorant belief. It’s an invitation from the Holy Spirit to submission and trust(James 4:7). It’s a choice to let go of everything else in order to rely entirely on God.
There is nothing anyone can “do” in order to be saved. The only way a person can find salvation is by accepting Jesus Christ as their savior. This simply means believing that Jesus died for our sins and accepting His gift of eternal life through faith and grace. By having a personal relationship with Jesus, individuals can experience forgiveness, peace, and purpose in their lives. Embracing Jesus as their savior, confessing Him with your mouth opens the door to a life filled with hope, love, and transformation, allowing you walk now in the light and truth of God’s word.

ONLY JESUS' SACRIFICE CAN SAVE ME

I was a sinner, deserving God’s judgment. Jesus Christ, who is God, came to earth as a man. He died in my place to pay for my sins, then rose from the dead as He promised. I trust in Jesus’ sacrifice alone to save me.
I am dead to sin and am putting all my faith in Jesus for salvation.
I was a sinner, who deserves God’s judgment (Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23).
Jesus Christ is God, and He came to earth as a man (John 1:14).
Jesus died, in my place, in order to pay for my sins (Romans 8:3-4; Hebrews 10:14).
Jesus came back from the dead, as He said He would (Romans 4:25; Mark 8:31).
I trust in Jesus’ sacrifice, and nothing else, to save me (Ephesians 2:8-9; John 3:5).
Renewal of my mind, turning from sin, putting all my faith (trust) in Jesus and the Spirit to save me (2 Corinthians 7:10; Acts 16:31).
Change is becoming! Truly believing in these things will result in forgiveness and a transformative change from within (James 1:18; 2 Corinthians 5:17), leading to a heavenly destiny. While the gospel is straightforward to grasp (Matthew 18:13), it can be challenging for individuals to embrace (Romans 1:20-21). The truth of the gospel highlights our imperfections and lack of full control over our lives (Psalm 39:5), emphasizing our need for something greater than ourselves to bring about redemption (1 Thessalonians 4:8).
Believing in the gospel means being forgiven, transformed, and destined for heaven. While the gospel is easy to understand, it can be hard to accept. Recognizing that we are imperfect, not in full control, and unable to save ourselves, we need something beyond ourselves to make things right. It is through this acceptance of our limitations that we can truly experience the power of redemption and the promise of everlasting grace. Embracing the gospel means opening ourselves up to a higher purpose and a greater sense of hope, knowing that we are not alone in our journey towards salvation.

ONLY IN JESUS CHRIST

In Matthew’s Gospel, the angel tells Joseph that Mary’s child is conceived of the Holy Spirit and will be named Jesus, meaning salvation, as he will save his people from their sins. The Son of Man’s purpose is to seek out and save the lost, with the New Testament emphasizing that salvation belongs to God alone, specifically through God’s presence in Jesus. Peter’s conviction that salvation is exclusively found in the name of Jesus Christ, who was crucified and raised from the dead by God, solidifies this belief in Acts 4:10-12.

LESSENING THE IMPACT OF SINS' EFFECTS

Salvation involves the holistic transformation of individuals, encompassing both their physical and spiritual well-being. Demonstrating compassion for the poor and marginalized is a fundamental aspect of entering into the kingdom, as seen in Jesus’ teachings and examples( Mark 10:17-22 ). Zacchaeus’s generosity towards the poor after experiencing salvation highlights the interconnectedness of physical and spiritual redemption(Luke 19:8-10).

SPIRITUAL REBIRTH FOR KINGDOM ENTRY

Jesus explained salvation as a spiritual rebirth essential for entering the kingdom (John 3:1-11), bringing freedom from sin (Rom 6), a new perspective beyond human understanding (Rom 5:16-17), peace with God (Rom 5:1), adoption as His children (Gal 4:4), incorporation into Christ’s death through baptism (Rom 6:4), and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit( Rom 5 , 8). Salvation is a divine mystery now revealed (Eph 3:9 ; 6:19), a predestined plan before creation (Eph 1:3-14), a guiding light for the Gentiles (Luke 2:30-32).

THE EXPANSION OF GOD'S REALM

In Jesus’ teaching, salvation is intricately connected to the advancement of God’s kingdom, which is directly tied to Jesus’ own identity. Referring to God’s kingdom as a representation of salvation, Jesus enhances the Old Testament belief that salvation is of God, as the kingdom symbolizes a realm where God reigns supreme. The disciples, upon hearing Jesus’ teachings about the kingdom, questioned, “Who then can be saved?” (Mark 10:23-26).
Jesus himself recognized that he was the bearer of God’s kingdom, as evidenced by his declaration after reading in the synagogue, “Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing” (Luke 4:21). Salvation is reserved for those who follow Jesus, the one who brings forth and embodies God’s kingdom.

THE MATERIAL AND SPIRITUAL REALM

The early Christian communities also prioritized care for the less fortunate, emphasizing the unity between the material and spiritual realms (Acts 9:36 ; Acts 10:4 Acts 10:31 ; 24:17 ; Gal 2:10 ; James 2:1-7 ). Forgiveness of sins and physical healing are intertwined in the concept of salvation, exemplified by the healing miracles performed by Jesus and His followers (Mark 2:1-12 ) ( Acts 3:16 ; 4:7-12 ). Ultimately, salvation extends beyond mere forgiveness to include the alleviation of the consequences of sin.
Salvation encompasses past justification, redemption, and reconciliation, present sanctification by the Spirit, and future glorification where believers will be free from the remnants of sin, experiencing Christ’s presence in new, incorruptible bodies.

TIME PAST PRESENT FUTURE

A transformation from death to life ( John 5:24), a message of grace for sinners( Mark 2:17), a gift obtained through faith (Eph 2:8-9), the longing of all creation (Rom 8:22), a manifestation of God’s righteousness (Rom 1:16-17), a justification by faith (Rom 4:22-25), reconciliation (2 Cor 5:18-19), and redemption (Rom 8:23).
The New Testament portrays salvation in terms of past, present, and future time. Believers were chosen in Christ before the world began (Eph 1:4), found hope in salvation (Rom 8:24), and continue to be transformed by the power of the cross (1 Cor 1:18). As they strive to work out their salvation with reverence (Php 2:12), they anticipate a future redemption that will be revealed in due time (1 Peter 1:5) (Rom 8:23).

The Power of God

Jesus’ gospel proclaims the arrival of the kingdom of God, signaling the nearness of God’s eternal reign over all creation. As the coming kingdom is inaugurated, righteousness and judgment will be established over all wrongs, fulfilling the promises of the Old Testament and bringing God’s rule closer than ever before.
The gospel terminology in the New Testament is focused on the fulfillment of salvation promised in the Old Testament, beginning with John the Baptist and continuing with the birth of John, Messiah’s forerunner. John’s preaching emphasizes repentance, forgiveness, and membership in Messiah’s community, culminating in the declaration of Jesus’ birth as “good news of great joy.” The gospel fulfillment from the Old Testament is realized with the arrival of Jesus.
Jesus, fulfilling the prophecy from Isaiah 61, has come to bring good news to the poor, freedom to prisoners, sight to the blind, and release to the oppressed. His ministry focuses on helping the physically and spiritually poor, addressing their misery, poverty, injustice, and sin, offering justice, mercy, and the kingdom of God. Jesus rescues the lost, liberates the enslaved, heals the afflicted, and forgives the guilty.
The kingdom’s arrival is not due to human effort but a reflection of God’s grace in response to human struggles. The salvation of the poor is solely due to God’s mercy, as seen in biblical parables where individuals are forgiven and justified not by their actions but by God’s benevolence. Whether virtuous or repentant, all individuals depend on divine mercy and grace, as no one can fully uphold God’s law alone. Grace operates within human limitations, demonstrating that true salvation comes from God’s unmerited favor.
Jesus proclaims his gospel to all, inviting everyone to submit to God’s rule and partake in the banquet of salvation. The gift of salvation is priceless and requires sacrifice, yet it costs nothing to receive. Those who repent and believe will be jolted out of false security, realizing their need for God. Liberation is good news for the enslaved, and being in a personal relationship with God brings true blessings. Acknowledging the truth of Jesus’ claims and living in obedience to him is the path to true blessedness.

JESUS SHOWS US THE FUTURE OF THE GOSPEL

Throughout Jesus’ ministry, the theme of his gospel remains the dawning kingdom of God, a message preached almost exclusively to Jews. Yet Jesus provides glimpses into what the gospel is to become. He speaks of persons who make sacrifices for me and for the gospel. Jesus and the gospel are here associated in the closest way. We are moving toward the time when the Proclaimer of the gospel will become the Proclaimed. Mark 13:10 and Matthew 24:14 foretell the preaching of the gospel of the kingdom to the Gentiles. Mark 14:8-9 indicates that Jesus and his death will be prominent themes in the worldwide gospel. Here we have an indication of the cruciality of Jesus’ death both for the provision of salvation announced in his gospel and for the launching of the mission to the Gentiles.
After Jesus’ resurrection, the gospel is shared through Acts and Paul’s letters, revealing God as the authority behind its message of salvation, grace, power, and glory. Embracing the gospel leads to turning towards God, while rejecting it leads to a lack of understanding of God. The risen Christ continues to spread the message of salvation through his followers, emphasizing the unity of the gospel for all. It is essential to preach the true Christ to convey the genuine gospel and respond by turning to Christ for salvation.
The gospel highlights Christ’s saving work, with a focus on his birth, ministry, second coming, and last judgment. However, the most significant events in the gospel are Christ’s death and resurrection. Mark’s Gospel leads up to Passion Week, while Paul’s gospel centers on Jesus’ death and resurrection, with the cross as the focal point. Acts emphasizes Jesus’ triumph over death and his exaltation as Lord and future Judge through his death and resurrection. 1 Peter highlights the Old Testament prophets’ emphasis on “the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow.
Paul affirms the gospel as the divine power of God, not just a testimony, but a manifestation of His power. It is not a mere set of words, but rather infused with the strength of the Holy Spirit. Consequently, it is unstoppable in its impact and influence. The gospel not only proclaims salvation but actively brings about the salvation it proclaims, bestowing the promised life to all who receive it.

Trust in the Power of God for Salvation

The gospel reveals God’s grace through the salvation offered by our Lord Jesus. It testifies to the power of God’s grace, demonstrating righteousness by offering His Son as a sacrifice for sins. In Jesus’ death, sins that were once overlooked now face divine wrath. Yet in His justice, God shows grace to sinners, freely pardoning them through the channel of His grace. This righteousness from God is unleashed in the gospel, becoming the power of God for salvation, bestowing freely upon sinners and declaring them righteous through their union with Christ.
The gospel requires a threefold response. Believing in the power of God for salvation by trusting in His grace through Christ. Growing in wisdom and life through the message of the gospel. Hoping in Christ’s return, heavenly glory, and final judgment, knowing that embracing the gospel brings rescue from wrath and approval by the Judge.
Grace in the Bible is often defined as God’s unmerited favor towards humanity. In the Old Testament, the term for grace is hen [ej], and it is mentioned around sixty times. An example of this is seen when Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord in Genesis 6:8, amidst a time of great wickedness on earth. This concept of grace ties in with themes of judgment, salvation, mercy, and forgiveness, highlighting God’s favor towards a few while others face destruction.

JESUS EMBODIES GRACE AND TRUTH

In the New Testament, the concept of grace is mainly conveyed through the word charis [cavri”]. Jesus, while not directly using this term, embodies the unmerited favor of God in his teachings. The parable of the prodigal son illustrates this grace extended to those who seek it with humility and repentance. Other parables like the laborers in the vineyard (Matt 20:1-16) and the great supper (Luke 14:16-24) also highlight the theme of grace in Jesus’ teachings.
