Even though a person of the flesh can submit to God’s commandments through His grace, the carnal mindset must be dismantled guided by the Holy Spirit and renewal occurs. Our spiritual condition becomes clear when we possess the Spirit of God and Christ within us. Walking in the Spirit involves adopting a Christ-like mentality that should be evident in a lifestyle aligned with His teachings and actions.
