Jesus, filled with authority, spoke to them, proclaiming his supremacy over all realms. He instructed them to go forth and spread his teachings to all nations, baptizing in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. They may become frustrated with God, as well, especially if they have been praying for guidance along the way. Isn’t He listening? Doesn’t He care? As St. Augustine once stated, we should pray as if everything hinges on God and work as if everything hinges on us.
