Pray Aloud in Jesus’ Name

I Pray; bless you lord and thank-you for this day and the opportunities before us today, I urge you, dear friends, to present your lives as a living offering to God, holy and pleasing, as this is the right thing to do. Do not let the ways of this world shape you, but instead, let your mind be renewed so you can understand what is good and pleasing to God. I say to everyone among you not to think too highly of yourself, but rather to think with sound judgment, according to the faith that God has given each person. Just as a body has many parts that do different things, we, though many, are one body in Christ, and each of us has a role to play. Now you are Christ’s body, and individually parts of it. We each have different gifts given to us by God’s grace, whether it is prophecy, serving, teaching, encouraging, giving, leading, or showing kindness; we should use our gifts diligently and joyfully. Let your love be genuine, hate what is evil, and cling to what is good. Show each other warm affection and honor one another above yourselves. Do not be lazy, but be passionate in your service to the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in tough times, and devoted to prayer. Help those in need and be welcoming. Bless those who treat you badly and do not retaliate. Share in the joy of others and also in their sadness. Be united in your thoughts, and do not look down on others. Do not repay evil for evil, but strive to do what is right in everyone’s eyes. As much as it is possible, live peacefully with everyone. Do not seek revenge, but leave it to God, for it is written that He will take care of it. If your enemy is hungry, feed them; if they are thirsty, give them something to drink. By doing this, you will overcome evil with good;

Come Holy Spirit;

In Jesus’ Name, Amen
