Scepticisms’ Conviction

A Skeptical Attitude: Doubt as to the Truth of Something

Is belief in God intellectually viable? This question delves into the long-standing tradition of religious skepticism, where doubts surround the existence of an all-knowing, all-powerful, perfectly good supernatural being. Reflective believers often find themselves pondering how or why they should accept specific religious claims as true. However, the challenge lies in convincing skeptics, those who habitually question accepted beliefs and mistrust ideas in general, that there is a credible and serious plan in place. Despite the skepticism and doubt that permeate religious discourse, the search for truth and understanding continues to drive the hearts of so many seeking to step forward.
Philosophical skepticism is the view that some or all knowledge is impossible. A skeptic questions the possibility of knowledge—particularly justification—in some domain. A global skeptic rejects the possibility of knowledge in general. But one need not reject the possibility of all knowledge. Skepticism about a claim implies that one does not believe the claim to be true. But it does not automatically follow that one should believe that the claim is false either. Instead, skeptics usually recommend a neutral attitude: beliefs about this matter should be suspended. What is skepticism and agnosticism? Atheist: We know (or have good reasons to believe) that God does not exist. Agnostic: We do not know (or have good reasons to believe) that God exists. Skeptheist: We cannot know (or have good reasons to believe) that God exists.
There’s a significant distinction between skepticism, true belief, and cynicism. A skeptic approaches beliefs with caution until they are definitively proven; a cynic outright rejects belief, while a pessimist has lost faith entirely. It’s crucial to understand the nuances between these attitudes towards belief in order to navigate the complexities of perspectives in our society.
Curious about the difference between atheism and nontheism? While atheism involves actively rejecting the idea of gods, nontheism takes a more neutral stance with a lack of belief. Embrace the spectrum of beliefs and explore the diverse perspectives on the existence of deities.
Is being a skeptic the same as being an atheist? Religious skepticism differs from atheism and agnosticism, with some skeptics identifying as deists or theists who reject organized religion.
The Bible, a compilation of sacred religious texts revered in Christianity, Judaism, Samaritanism, Islam, the Baha’i Faith, and other Abrahamic religions, stands as a profound anthology originally penned in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Koine Greek, serving as a cornerstone of faith and spirituality for millions around the globe. Its diverse range of teachings and stories offers guidance, wisdom, and inspiration to believers seeking spiritual enlightenment and moral guidance in their daily lives.
Judaism denies the existence of Jesus as God, a person of a Trinity, or a mediator to God. It also does not recognize Jesus as the Messiah, as he is believed to have not fulfilled the Messianic prophecies in the Tanakh or possessed the personal qualifications of the Messiah.
Christadelphians believe in the unitarian concept that Jesus is the Son of God, emphasizing a distinction between his role as the Son and the Father’s position as the sole God. This relational title reflects a unique relationship between Jesus and God, highlighting the divine nature of the Father while acknowledging the special status of Jesus as the Son. Central to Christadelphian theology is the idea that Jesus’ identity as the Son of God does not equate to him being God himself, but rather emphasizes his connection to the ultimate divine authority held by the Father.
Do Muslims believe in Jesus or the Holy spirit
Muslims believe in God’s absolute oneness, rejecting the Christian concept of the Trinity. The Holy Spirit in Islam is the Angel Gabriel, not a separate entity. Jesus, known as Isa in Arabic, is considered a prophet and messenger of God, not divine. He is referred to as the Messiah in the Quran.
What do they think in Israel?
Jewish beliefs vary when it comes to Jesus, with no official stance held. However, there is a common consensus among Jews regarding their rejection of the Christian belief that Jesus is the Lord Christ, God Incarnate, and the Son of God the Father. This rejection stems from differing interpretations and understandings of religious teachings and scriptures.
What is the oldest religion?
Believed to have origins in Mesolithic prehistoric religion, Hinduism is connected to ancient rock paintings found in Bhimbetka rock shelters dating back around 10,000 years (c. 8,000 BCE) and even further back to neolithic eras, offering insights into early spiritual practices and beliefs of ancient civilizations, some of which were inhabited over 100,000 years ago.
Is Heaven a real place, yes or no?
Many believe in the reality of heaven, as solid and tangible as the very ground we walk on. This belief is deeply rooted in various religious texts and reinforced by countless personal accounts. People often share stories of experiencing moments of pure transcendence and divine connection.
So why are we here? What exactly do you seek? Leviticus 19–20 highlights the importance of holiness in the eyes of the Lord. The Hebrew word for holy, “qadash,” encompasses the ideas of sanctification, consecration, dedication, and separation from the worldly influences of the world and worldliness. This emphasis on being set apart and devoted to God’s ways is a central theme throughout the scriptures, guiding believers to live a life that reflects the purity and righteousness of the divine.
How many times did Jesus mention the kingdom of heaven? Jesus spoke 126 times in the Gospels about the Kingdom of God. The New Testament speaks another 34 times to it. We often speak of the Kingdom of God in matter-of-fact words, but do we truly understand its significance and impact on our lives? The mention of “Thy Kingdom come” in the Lord’s Prayer serves as a powerful reminder of our connection to a higher purpose and the divine presence in our lives, inviting us to explore the depths of our spirituality and faith.

Who does Jesus say is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? The answer lies in Matthew 18:4, where he emphasizes the importance of humility by stating that the greatest in the Kingdom of heaven is the one who humbles himself and becomes like a child. This powerful message reminds us that true greatness is attained through a humble and childlike heart, rather than through pride or arrogance. Embracing the virtues of simplicity, innocence, and purity, we can strive to embody the essence of a child and find favor in the eyes of the Lord.
The concept of the Kingdom of God residing within each individual, as highlighted in Luke 17:21, emphasizes the essence of nonviolence. Jesus proclaimed, “for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you,” in response to inquiries from the Pharisees regarding the arrival of the Kingdom of God. This powerful message underscores the idea that true spiritual fulfillment and peace come from within ourselves, guiding us towards a path of compassion and harmony with others.

UNVEILING THE PATH TO ETERNAL LIFE

Building the kingdom of God involves living a righteous life, cultivating happiness, maintaining a positive attitude, engaging in daily prayer and scripture study (refer to Joshua 1:8), seeking repentance for sins, striving to be worthy of a disciple recommend, and heeding the counsel of the prophet.

PRESENCE OF SPIRIT

Romans 8 speaks of the freedom found in Christ Jesus, where there is no condemnation for those who walk in the Spirit and are set free from the law of sin and death.

Through His Son, God has triumphed over sin in the flesh, bringing liberation and life to all who believe in Him.

To fulfill the law, we must walk in the Spirit, not the flesh. Those who focus on the flesh think only of earthly things, while those who follow the Spirit focus on spiritual matters.

To be worldly-minded leads to death, but being spiritually-minded brings life and peace. The mind focused on worldly things is at odds with God and cannot obey His law.

For those living in the flesh, it is impossible to please God. However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if the Spirit of God resides in you.

If Christ is within you, you may be dead to sin, but your Spirit is alive because of righteousness. If the Spirit of the one who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, He will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit within you. Therefore, we are not obligated to live according to the flesh, but rather to the Spirit.

Experience Life

If you follow the Spirit and put to death the deeds of the body, you will have life. Those led by the Spirit of God are considered His children. You have not been given a spirit of fear but one of adoption, allowing you to call God Father. The Spirit confirms that we are indeed children of God and if so, then we are heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ. Even through suffering, the glory that awaits us far outweighs any present troubles.
The trials we face today are temporary compared to the glorious future that awaits us. The world eagerly anticipates the revelation of the children of God, longing for the day when all creation will be set free from suffering and experience the fullness of God’s freedom. We, who have already tasted the Spirit, await the redemption of our bodies with hope, knowing that our salvation lies in the unseen but certain promise of a brighter tomorrow.
If we hope for what we do not see, we must patiently wait for it. The Spirit helps us in our weaknesses by interceding for us with groanings that cannot be expressed. God, who searches our hearts, knows the Spirit’s intentions, interceding for the saints according to His will. And we trust that all things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to His purpose.

HE JUSTIFIED, HE ALSO GLORIFIED

For those God knew before, He destined to become like His Son so that He would be the first among many. And those He destined, He also called; those He called, He also justified; those He justified, He also glorified. In light of this, what can we say? If God is on our side, who can stand against us?
He did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all, so how will he not also graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus who died, more than that, who was raised to life, is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. In all these trials, we are not just conquerors, but we excel beyond measure through the love of Him who cares for us deeply. I am completely convinced that nothing, not even death, life, heavenly beings, rulers, powers, what is happening now, what will come in the future, heights, depths, or any other created thing or creature, will ever be able to sever us from the boundless love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

THE DIVINE REVELATION: EXPOSING HEAVEN'S SECRETS

Truly, truly, I tell you, we speak of what we know and testify to what we have seen, yet you do not accept our testimony. If I have told you about earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you about heavenly things? No one has ascended to heaven except the one who came down from heaven, the Son of Man. Just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, so that whoever believes in him may have eternal life. For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. God did not send his Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.

1 Corinthians 1
May the grace and peace of God and Jesus Christ be with you. I am grateful to God for the grace given to you through Jesus Christ, enriching you in every way. The testimony of Christ is evident in you, lacking in no gift, as we anticipate the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. He will sustain you until the end, keeping you blameless. God is faithful, calling you to fellowship with His Son Jesus Christ. I urge you, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to speak in unity and avoid divisions, being of one mind and judgment.

…as it is in you. Amen

EMBRACE THE DIVINE JOURNEY

What is the true meaning of believing in God? Those who believe in God often view Him as a powerful, omniscient, compassionate, and involved deity. The majority of adults who profess belief in the God express the belief that God loves all individuals unconditionally, regardless of their shortcomings, and feel that God has provided them with protection and prosperity throughout the whole of their lives.
When we open our hearts to faith, we welcome the Spirit of the Son and are reborn as children of God. Through and By His Word, guided by the Holy Spirit’s influence as we listen, meditate or read, we embark on a journey to truly know, comprehend, and deeply connect with God, allowing us to experience His divine presence in our lives (John 14:26; John 16:12–15). A little quiet in solace helps.

Unveiling Divine Wisdom

How does knowledge differ from belief? One of the most venerable distinctions in philosophy is the one between knowledge and belief. Knowledge has been typically associated with genuine modal reasoning or scientific cognition that can provide truth whereas belief has been thought to present mere appearances or subjective opinion, usually founded on the carnal.

Does God know everyone’s thoughts? Fifteen hundred years after Noah’s great flood, King Solomon was receiving some advice from his father, King David, who said this, ” … for the Lord searches all hearts, and understands every intent of the thoughts” 1 Chronicles 28:9. The Holy Spirit indwelling you witnesses to Jesus.

DISCOVER THE DIVINE WITHIN

To truly experience the presence of God, one must first cultivate a deep “sense of the Divine,” which is inherently embedded in the consciousness of every individual. This innate capacity allows us to connect with the spiritual realm and feel the presence of a higher power. Additionally, another avenue to understanding God is through the observation of the magnificent works of creation that surround us. By witnessing the beauty and complexity of the world around us, we can gain insight into the wisdom and power of the divine being that governs our existence.
Understanding God is the key to accessing all the blessings He has already given us. By knowing Him, we can partake in His divine nature, receive His promises, and escape the corruption of the world.

AWAKEN YOUR DIVINE CONNECTION

For some reason, many individuals who have faith in God without truly knowing Him often perceive God as a human-like figure who should be capable of preventing negative occurrences. However, upon gaining an understanding of God, it becomes clear that God is a spiritual entity always present to aid in navigating life’s obstacles, though not necessarily eliminating them altogether. Is there a distinction between belief and knowledge? Belief entails embracing a conviction or acknowledgment of something as true, even in the absence of tangible proof, while knowledge involves possessing factual details or evidence about a verifiable truth.
Are you prepared to transcend your belief in God or do you imagine the absence of God and have you discovered the essence of God? Belief and knowledge of God are distinct experiences. Knowing God naturally unfolds when you take time and listen, which aligns with your intention to really connect your born-from-above spirit anew, the Word and the Holy Spirit. You recognize God when your heart is receptive to understanding love and truth. Through this knowing, you encounter the divine love, power, and wisdom that is God. You realize that God is the universal creative intelligence and that God’s presence is unwavering and constant for you.

UNVEIL SACRED WISDOM

Which comes first, faith or belief? John 14:12-2 states, “Most assuredly I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.” It is possible to hold a belief without possessing faith, yet faith cannot exist without belief. Understanding the interconnected nature of belief and faith is essential in cultivating a deep spiritual connection and experiencing the profound growth that comes from aligning one’s beliefs with unwavering faith. The power of belief can lead to actions that surpass one’s expectations, while faith provides the foundation for unwavering dedication and commitment to the beliefs held dear. By acknowledging the symbiotic relationship between belief and faith, individuals can tap into a wellspring of inner strength and resilience that propels them towards achieving their greatest potential and making a lasting impact on the world around them.

HEARING GOD AMIDST THE CHAOS

Embrace the power within you, as you navigate through the chaos of life. With belief as your compass and faith as your guide, unlock the potential for greater works that lie ahead. Find clarity in the midst of uncertainty and let the voice of God lead you to new heights. Trust in the journey, for miracles await those who listen with an open heart and a fearless spirit. Step into your divine purpose and watch as the world shifts to align with your truth. Let your light shine bright amidst the darkness, for you are destined for greatness.
God’s omniscience, His all-knowingness, should evoke humility within us. Despite our intelligence, we must acknowledge the limitations of our knowledge. Because God is not bound by the same constraints as us, we can have confidence in His decisions as being wise and good. Let His all-knowing nature guide us in humility and trust.
Why do I feel unworthy of God’s love? We all commit sin, and because of that, we may feel unworthy of the Savior’s love. But He gave His life for us—he sacrificed for us. That selfless act was done because of love. The only thing we need to do to feel worthy of Him, even when we feel undeserving, is to use the power of His Atonement by repenting of our sins. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” The truth is that we all fall short of the impossible goal of being like Jesus. We are all sinners, but we are all worthy of love and forgiveness 1 Timothy 4:12. The second verse for when you’re feeling unworthy is 1 John 1:9. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. When we come to Jesus with our mistakes, our failures or feeling unworthy, He is faithful to forgive us.
To truly know God, it is essential to receive Jesus Christ into our lives, as He is the way to Heaven and the gateway to personal knowledge of God. Additionally, understanding that the Bible is God’s Word reveals His promises and His will, providing us with a deeper insight into His nature and character. By embracing Jesus and immersing ourselves in the God breathed teachings of the Bible, we can strengthen our relationship with God and grow in our spiritual journey.
Jesus taught that God is a Spirit and emphasized the importance of establishing a spiritual connection with Him. To truly know God, engage in diligent reading and studying of His Word. Approach the Lord in prayer as you would with a trusted confidant, seeking a deeper understanding of His love and character. Through this intimate relationship, a profound sense of hope and confidence will emerge, transforming every aspect of your life.

CALMING DIVINE GUIDANCE

What does God’s voice feel like? Your heavenly Father knows what you need. The voice of God isn’t anxiety. The voice of God is peace. God will often convict us and allow us to feel an appropriate amount of pressure to help us make a decision, but God does not inspire panic or anxiety. Remember, God’s voice brings calm and guidance, leading us to clarity and wisdom in our choices. Trust in His comforting presence and let His peaceful voice guide you through life’s challenges with grace and assurance.

No matter the weight of our sins or how many times we have stumbled, there is always the opportunity for redemption. Jesus Christ offers complete forgiveness for all transgressions, no matter how grave they may seem. He eagerly awaits to grant us forgiveness, no sin is too great to be cleansed by His grace.

The great news is that we have access to knowing God through revelation from the Holy Spirit, studying the Word, participating in a Bible-teaching local church, praying (communicating with God), and engaging in praise and worship, all of which deepen our relationship with the divine and help us grow in faith and understanding.

ACTIVELY FILLING OUR MINDS

ACTIVELY FILLING OUR MINDS

UNLOCKING DIVINE VICTORY

When we immerse ourselves in the joy of knowing the Lord, we strengthen our ability to combat temptation, resist the influence of Satan, and navigate through challenging circumstances that may lead us astray. By focusing on the pleasures that come from our relationship with God, we equip ourselves with the spiritual fortitude needed to stay grounded in our faith and walk uprightly proud in a world filled with distractions and trials. When our hearts are filled with the goodness and grace of the Lord, we find the inner strength to stand firm against sin, reject the temptations of the enemy, and overcome any obstacles that threaten to lead us astray from the favor of the path of righteousness. Demand is unceasing and time relentless, while your desire is fully known to God and He knows your true heart He waits now.
Walking in victory over sin is not an easy journey, but a journey profitable to be taking. In Romans 6, we are reminded of three key principles that can guide us in our pursuit of righteousness and freedom from sin. By understanding our identity in Christ, embracing the power of His resurrection, and living in the freedom that comes from being dead to sin, the past person is dead we are anew, we can walk in victory each day. Let us set our hearts on the path of righteousness, trusting in the grace of God to gift us to our rightful place now in a prosperous life of purpose, joy, and freedom.
We are the disciples and we-in-Christ, the Body of Christ; the one true church universal wield His power and will on earth. Join us. Romans 6 guides us on how to tap into the power, favor, and blessings of God, which are generously given to us through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. This chapter serves as a roadmap for achieving victory over sin in our daily lives. True transformation commences by understanding our identity in Christ, viewing ourselves through God’s eyes in Christ. While God offers us ample grace to pour into the vessel of our existence, He expects our collaboration in receiving it. We must actively engage embracing His grace in the Spirit, as He will not fulfill our responsibilities, and we cannot fulfill His.

I want to deliver you ten intrinsic principles outlined by Paul on how to achieve victory over sin. The first principle, we call the “renewal of mind principle” (Rom. 6:11), emphasizes the importance of understanding our identity in Christ and the blessings we have received through confessing Him. We are to see ourselves as vibrant to God standing in the realm of God, recognizing our complete renewal, acceptance and joy in His presence, our authority through Jesus, and the Spirit indwelling us. The peace of the Spirit is twinned in our spirit right from the moment of our spiritual rebirth (Gal. 5:22). By acknowledging and expressing gratitude for this peace in the Spirit, we can access and release it to our flesh, our mind, soul and emotions, aligning inner knowing in harmony and tranquility.

A second principle to know we call the “standing in the word principle” (Rom 6:12-13). We are to resist sin, Satan,, demons, evil and sin provoking or tempting circumstances. We resist the inward inclinations of sins deceptions and the scheming lies of Satan by actively practicing our faith while imagining the Word which lines up with our born again Spirit. Our decisions witnessed in our hearts by the Spirit. By walking in victory over sin, we demonstrate our love for God by renewal of mind and soul, by allowing it to happen (John 14:15, 21-23), You have to want it and you will prove it easily with the help calling within you now. Your warranted real desires will be met. By avoiding situations that trigger sinful passions or habituations, such as certain places, things, people or conversations, we uphold our commitment to faith, resisting temptation and honoring God with our choices.

The “active works principle”, is the third; as mentioned in Romans 6:13, calls us to present ourselves as instruments onto righteousness unto God, offering our bodies sacrificed unto sin, alive and active for His work in discipling others. Emphasizing the importance of loving God wholeheartedly and cultivating intimacy with Him, we are then able to extend God’s love and knowledge to people by allowing ourselves to be vessels of His Spirit for the benefit of all. Through serving and relating to both God and others with love, we fulfill our purpose as brothers and sisters of Jesus and followers in community. For today we can rest in these three for these discussions if you want open this link and bookmark it for later Teacher’s Commentary on the Ten Intrinsic Principles of Victory Over Sin

When we focus on the joy and fulfillment found in knowing God, we have the strength to reject harmful temptations more effectively. By avoiding situations that lead us towards sin, as advised by Paul in Romans 6:13, we can prevent ourselves from falling into wrongdoing. Recognize your weaknesses and steer clear of environments that provoke sinful behavior. Resist the urge to give in to sinful desires and choose to walk away from detrimental circumstances. When we immerse ourselves in the joy of knowing the Lord, we empower ourselves to overcome sin, temptation, and situations that lead us astray. Any journey is the act of stepping outside what is normal, step up and step out shining in all glory as you will.
So we must know truth, resist evil, and pursue God with all our hearts. We demonstrate our love for God and people by standing firm in faith against sin, the schemes of Satan, and any temptation that may come our way. By growing in our understanding of our identity in Jesus Christ, we can experience the heart of God as a loving Father and the heart of Jesus as a devoted Bridegroom. These three intrinsic principles are essential for walking head-up in victory over sin and living a life characterized by love and productivity in Christ. It is crucial that we do not neglect any of these aspects, as they work together synergistically to transform our lives. When we prioritize seeking God’s will, finding joy in His presence, and walking in knowing, we open ourselves up to the powerful work of the Holy Spirit in renewing our minds and guiding our every step, at a pace we will accept.

REVITALIZED YOUR SOUL JOURNEY

At our core, everyone of us were made ready to talk with God, disrupted by a lifestyle that defines us night and day. Our culture prioritizes distractions like phones, entertainment, travel , online activities and constant tainted cable news. Yet, these choices leave us unfulfilled, with a deeper hunger inside, voices vying to be heard, seen and recognized now amidst your busyness. God has spoken to you before, having listened what would have occured to follow? Quiet is a place to find to actively meditate on the Word listening for and communicating your desire, heart to heart with God in Jesus’ name guided by the Holy Spirit. Pray out loud clearly asking for God to help you and guide you now for what you must have, must know. God wants you to prosper in all aspects of life now in this life.
If we don’t pause to listen, we may miss out on important things. Without asking the right questions, we won’t find the answers we seek. Consider this: God has spoken to you before and does that wonder still await you now? Who would we be, what direction would we have taken without these constant distractions? There is a void within us that noise, material possessions and our hectic lifestyle cannot fill. It is in this emptiness that the Word of God offers guidance and comfort, reminding us to prepare for the presence of the Lord in our lives.
To prepare to invite the Lord’s presence, we must intentionally create a sacred space where we can commune with Him, free from distractions and mental clutter. By consciously clearing the path to our hearts, we open ourselves up to receiving the Holy Spirit and making God our top priority. In our fast-paced and technology-driven world, it is crucial to establish boundaries by disconnecting from phones and devices to truly focus on our relationship with the divine.

EMBRACING YOUR TRUE IDENTITY IN CHRIST

While we may be tempted to define ourselves by our jobs or hobbies, Jesus calls us to find our significance in Him, the Father who created us and knows us best and the Holy Spirit. By making time for God and removing distractions, we open our hearts through the Holy Spirit to His glory and experience the love that only He can provide. God is a Spirit and we speak to him inspirit.

Take a moment to seek guidance from the Lord on what He is prompting you to seek, where He is leading you, asking what is leading you, why and what issues He desires to translate. Know he will only ask for what you can give in all faith and are ready for in time. Allow Him to illuminate on anything restricting your vision of the path and instruct you on how to respond to vexing habituations or persons in your spheres of influence.

Spending a few days in the presence of God will break negative patterns in our lives and empower us to live undistracted, ultimately leading to a deeper connection with Him. you would have to want it as with all things in life, we will reap as we sow. All God asks of you is to believe in His son and start at your speed on a journey with Him freed of your past.

DISCOVER YOUR TRUE IDENTITY

WE’RE ALL TEMPTED TO BASE OUR IDENTITIES ON OUR JOBS, HOBBIES, OR INTERESTS, YET JESUS INVITES US TO DISCOVER OUR TRUE SIGNIFICANCE AND WORTH IN HIM, OFFERING US A DEEPER SENSE OF PURPOSE AND MEANING BEYOND THE SUPERFICIAL LABELS WE OFTEN ATTACH TO OURSELVES.

EMBRACING THE JOURNEY OF FAITH

Do we truly understand the depths of our relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ? Is it possible for our initial fervent love for Christ to evolve into mere routine, tradition, and a sense of obligation? How can we actively nurture our spiritual growth and deepen our connection with Christ through daily living and faithful obedience?
In the midst of Apostle Paul’s encounter with Jesus Christ on the road to Damascus, he posed two essential questions: Who are You, Lord? and What can I do for You? REVEALING THE DEPTHS OF TRUTH

Do you see yourself truly embraced by the righteousness of Jesus or are you still haunted by the shadows of your past mistakes? The roots of shame can be traced back to the dawn of creation, when Adam and Eve felt the weight of the disconnect from their perfect harmony with God after the fall. Their eyes were opened to their vulnerability and they sought to hide their nakedness. When our fundamental belief is tainted with self-doubt, we find ourselves striving endlessly for validation and acceptance, trapped in the grip of legalism where we think we must earn God’s love. On the other extreme lies immorality, whispering that it is futile to even make an effort if we are inherently flawed. In all truth you know your one true heart and exactly the reasons why you are standing in place, while immobilized by not knowing, what you seek and truly desire is right there within you now.

God the Father has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly places in Christ. He chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world, so that we should be holy and blameless before Him in love. Through Christ Jesus, He has adopted us into His family, all to the praise and glory of His grace. This is how He has made us acceptable in the Beloved (see Ephesians 1:3-6).
Discover the profound truth about who we are in Christ as chosen by God for His high calling, to be holy people and instruments of His work. Learn how our heavenly Father has removed our shame and clothed us in the righteousness of Christ, a robe put on us all that will by God through faith. Experience the powerful scene in Zechariah where Joshua, the high priest, is accused by Satan.(Zechariah 3:1–4)
Remember that no matter the evil accusations of the enemy, Now and in all truth Jesus stands as our defender and declares us righteous and blameless before God. He covers us with His love and grace, reassuring us of our worth and value in His eyes. The spirit indwells us and guides us to the path, trust in His intercession, knowing that He fights for us and declares us His beloved children. He knows your heart. The name of Satan means “the accuser.” In Revelation 12:10, Satan accuses us day and night before God. His followers called demons also accuse all. The accuser says, “You’re not good enough. you should not, You should, You’re a loser and will never measure up or have merit.” However, Hebrews 7:25 tells us that Jesus, our advocate, always lives to intercede on our behalf. Jesus says, “Father, I’ve clothed My beloved ones in My robes of righteousness. They are holy and without blame.” Standing in the Word knowing is a great place to be.
I have too good to be true good news for you! God doesn’t aim to perfect us in our weaknesses but instead uses any self perceived deficiency to teach us to rely on Him in all humility. God has already chosen all of us and anoints even especially the least of us, because witnessed our hearts reflected the Spirit. This allows His life Spirit to increase through us as we decrease the carnal patterns of the old mindfulness and fleshy soulish ways. Just like Paul, who endured a thorn in his side to prevent him from becoming too proud. He learned that God’s grace is enough favor and His strengths shine through our weaknesses. So, we can boast in our weaknesses, knowing that Christ’s power rests upon us, is actioned by us. This means finding joy in challenges, insults, needs, persecutions, and distress, all for Christ’s sake. In our weakness, His strength is revealed. (2 Corinthians 12:7–10)

Embracing the truth of our identity in-Christ as beloved children of God enables us to walk in confidence and freedom, breaking free from the chains of shame and embracing the abundant life God has destined for us. As we deepen our understanding of God’s love and grace, we find strength and courage to live out our purpose with boldness and conviction, spreading His love to those around us and His light through us shining as beacons of hope in a world filled with darkness. Let all your light shine.

How do we overcome the convictions of guilt-based thinking and begin to see ourselves as the true sons and daughters of God clothed in His robes of righteousness?

The principle of renewing the mind emphasizes the importance of transforming our thoughts and perspectives. By embracing new ways of thinking, we can enhance our understanding and improve our overall well-being. This process not only enriches our lives but also empowers us to make more thoughtful decisions in various aspects of our existence.

Growing in our knowing and our faith based on the understanding of God’s unfailing love and word are the primary keys. The depth of our knowledge equal to our faith. Once we truly comprehend, discern and receive the depth of God’s love, we can fulfill His plan of loving and walking with Him in all of our Spirit: heart, soul, mind, and strength, along with genuinely loving others as ourselves while avoiding vexations. Ephesians expresses the dynamics of God strengthening our faith, which increases our capacity for surrendering to God’s love and results in us all being filled with more of Him (Ephesians 3:16–19). Lovely or not God loves you, God is love and he knows your true heart in all light. While He waits for you now.

Unleash the power of your moral compass and confidently walk the path of righteousness with unwavering conviction. Embrace virtuous living and let your actions reflect the depth of your character. Stand strong in the face of adversity, knowing that self-compassion and integrity will lead you towards the brightness of truth. In a world teeming with temptations, always choose the noble path and shine as a beacon of inspiration for those seeking the essence of goodness and righteous virtue. Paul in Romans 6 delves into crucial Gospel teachings, covering the nature and consequences of sin, the possibility of living sin-free, the significance of water baptism, and the importance of sanctification. A spiritual metamorphosis takes place upon salvation, where we undergo a symbolic death and resurrection with Christ, gaining freedom from the shackles of sin through our trust in Him. Failure to trust in Jesus results in spiritual death, forever separating us from His grace.

Teach Kids to Emulate Jesus' Example

In ancient times, a decree was issued for a census to be taken, leading Joseph and Mary to travel to Bethlehem where Mary gave birth to a son in a manger. Nearby shepherds tending their flocks were visited by an angel who announced the birth of a Savior, Jesus Christ. The shepherds then went to witness the newborn baby and shared the news with others, causing wonder and praise for the miraculous events. Mary treasured these experiences in her heart, while the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had witnessed.

They brought him to Jerusalem to present Him to the Lord. Every male that opens the matrix is called holy to the Lord, as written in the law of the Lord. A sacrifice of a pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons was offered according to the law of the Lord. In Jerusalem, there was a man named Simeon, who was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel with the Holy Ghost upon him. It was revealed to him by the Holy Ghost that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. Led by the Spirit into the temple, he took the child Jesus in his arms, blessed God, and proclaimed, ‘Now I can depart in peace, for my eyes have seen your salvation, a light for the Gentiles and the glory of Israel. Joseph and Mary marveled at his words, and Simeon blessed them, telling Mary that this child would cause many in Israel to rise and fall, and be a sign that would be spoken against, revealing the thoughts of many hearts, with a prophecy that her own soul would be pierced as well.

The child grew, he became strong in spirit and filled with wisdom, with the grace of God upon him. His parents traveled to Jerusalem every year, and when he was twelve years old, they went as expected. Leaving the city, on their way back, they realized he was missing. After searching for three days, they found him in the temple, astonishing all who heard him, amazing them with his understanding and wisdoms. His parents were bewildered and questioned him, to which he replied that he must be about his Father’s business. They did not fully understand his words, but he returned with them to Nazareth, growing in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and man.

Jesus’ entry into the world was humble and unexpected, born in a simple barn, laid in a manger by Mary and Joseph of meager means. Despite being the Son of God, he could have been born in the most lavish palace to the wealthiest family, some would think that best. However, God’s choice to have Jesus born in such modest surroundings reminds us that His love transcends social status and their causes. In the birth of Jesus, God’s unconditional love and grace for all humanity is revealed. Luke 2:1-20, The Birth of Jesus.

Jesus, as the Son of God, studied God’s Word to learn and obey it, setting an example for children and all through his obedience. In Luke 2:41-52, The boy Jesus in the Temple, we witness Jesus’ commitment to understanding and following God’s teachings. John the Baptist’s recognition of Jesus as the Savior during his baptism underscores the significance of obedience to God. By obeying God, as seen in Matthew 3:1-17, The Baptism of Jesus, we not only demonstrate our love for Him but also follow Jesus’ example of unwavering faithfulness.

Jesus, the Son of God, exemplified a life free from sin, showing us the path to resist temptation through His divine guidance in Luke 4:1-13, The Temptation of Jesus. innocence will come to understand that by following in His footsteps and abiding by His teachings from the Bible, they also have the opportunity to become His disciples, just like the 12 men who devotedly followed Him during His earthly ministry in Mark 1:16-20, Calling of First Disciples.

During His ministry, Jesus preached about living differently and how God forgives our sins through belief in Him. In one sermon, Jesus emphasized that we can never earn our way to heaven through good deeds. Matthew 5:1-16, The Sermon on the Mount People can learn from His teachings and identify changes they can make in their lives. In another powerful moment, Jesus calmed a storm that threatened His disciples. This shows His strength and the trust we can have in Him to help us through any problem. A child can think of something they want to ask God for help with, just like the disciples did in the storm. Mark 4:35-41, Jesus Calms the Storm

PRAY; I WILL FOLLOW JESUS' EXAMPLE IN LOVE AND CARE.

“Father, In Jesus’ name we pray, we humbly seek your divine guidance in your teachings to help us stay true to your Word,  faithfully exhibiting compassion and kindness towards others,  by our example in action caring just as Jesus did during his time on Earth.”
Amen.

UNVEILING DIVINE MYSTERIES

Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”, john 14

I thank God for the grace given to you by Jesus Christ, enriching you in all utterance and knowledge, confirming the testimony of Christ in you. May you lack no gift, eagerly awaiting the return of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will keep you blameless until the end. God is faithful, calling you to fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Corinthians 1

Do not doubt that I am in the Father, and the Father is in me. The words I speak are not my own, but the Father who dwells in me performs the works. Believe that I am in the Father, or believe based on the works you see. Those who believe in me will also perform the works I do, and even greater works, as I go to my Father. Whatever you ask in my name, I will do so the Father may be glorified. If you love me, keep my commandments. I will pray to the Father, who will give you another Comforter to be with you forever – the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive but you know, for he dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you alone; I will come to you.
I will not leave you comfortless, I will come to you. John 14:10-18
19-31
In a little while, the world won’t see me but you will, because I live, you will live too. When you follow my commandments, you show love for me, and in return, you will be loved by my Father. I will also love you and reveal myself to you. If you love me, you will keep my words, and my Father will love you, and we will come to you and make our home with you. The Comforter, the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything and remind you of all I have said. I leave you with peace, not as the world gives, so do not be troubled or afraid. I go to the Father, for he is greater than me, and I have told you these things so that you may believe when they come to pass. I won’t speak much longer with you because the prince of this world is coming, but he has no power over me. I do as the Father commands to show my love for him. Let’s go now.

DEADLY SINS

Are you grappling with the age-old problem of evil in theology and philosophy? The existence of evil in a world created by an almighty and perfectly good God may seem contradictory, but the debate continues to provoke thought and discussion. Although theodicies and defenses have been proposed to reconcile this issue, the mystery of why evil exists alongside a benevolent Triune remains a topic of contemplation for many non-believers and thinkers. From the free will defense of religion to the concept of natural evil as a means of growth and learning, various arguments have been presented to address this complex issue. As we navigate through the perplexities of the problem of evil, let us ponder the depths of human suffering and the potential for spiritual enlightenment that can arise from adversity and prosecutions.

EMBRACE THE LIGHT WITHIN

In the journey of understanding the complexities of human nature, we must also confront the silent sin of rejecting the divine offer of forgiveness and new life. While the “many evil thoughts” may lurk within us, it is the denial of grace and redemption that truly separates us from the divine truth. Embrace the light of forgiveness and let go of the darkness of disbelief, for it is in this act that we find true liberation of the soul.
Unveil the darkness within and conquer the deadly sins that plague the soul. Pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath, and sloth – beware their temptations, for they lead to destruction. Seek redemption and find peace in the light of forgiveness and grace.

Shedding Light on the Deadly Sins

…gluttony, lust, avarice, anger, sloth, sadness, vainglory and pride warned against pride, we call it the worst of the “devious sins, which lurk in the heart without us even realizing it.”

On God’s list, the sin that cannot be forgiven is the rejection of Him and refusal of His offer of forgiveness and new life in Jesus. This particular sin is deemed unforgivable as it implies disbelief in the truth of the Holy Spirit’s testimony regarding Jesus, as stated in Luke 12:10. It is therefore crucial to acknowledge and accept this offer of redemption and salvation to avoid falling into the trap of disbelief and denial of God’s grace.

Gluttony, mentioned in 1 Corinthians Chapter 10:31, warns against murmuring and excessive consumption of food and drink. While enjoying food and drink is not wrong, indulging to the point of gluttony is considered sinful. Drunkenness, stemming from excessive alcohol intake, is also classified as a form of gluttony, leading to further immoral actions and sins.

Lust, 2 Timothy Chapter 2:22, Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. Against a minimalistic view of the Seventh Commandment, Jesus says, “But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart” (Matt. 5:28). Flee from youthful lusts and instead pursue righteousness, faith, charity, and peace with those who seek the Lord with a pure heart. Jesus warns that lusting after another person is akin to committing adultery in one’s heart. Lust is a distorted craving for sexual pleasure, characterized by a selfish focus that dehumanizes the desired individual.

Greed, often synonymous with avarice, is viewed as a sinful and despicable trait, characterized by an insatiable desire for wealth. It is defined as an immoderate love or craving for riches, material possessions, fame, attention, power, or anything else that caters to one’s selfishness.

Sloth, goes beyond mere laziness, revealing a deeper root of sin stemming from a lack of love for God and His commands. This negligence can lead to wasted resources, with individuals failing to help those in need despite having the ability to do so. Remember the wisdom of the ant and consider the consequences of sloth in your life.

Wrath,  or vengeance is considered one of the seven deadly sins, defined as a strong feeling of hatred or resentment with a desire for vengeance. This overwhelming feeling and desire for revenge distinguishes wrath from anger that is balanced with reason, which is not considered a sin.

Envy is more than simple jealousy; it includes the belief that another’s excellence or blessings lessen one’s own, leading to destructive thoughts toward another’s good fortune. According to one evangelical dictionary, envy is the “sin of jealousy over the blessings and achievements of others,” indicating that the terms “envy” and “jealousy” are interchangeable.

Pride in Christian tradition, is linked to Satan, as it led Lucifer, once the most beautiful of God’s angels, to rebel against Him and be cast out of heaven. Described in the Book of Revelation, some believe Lucifer battled St. Michael the Archangel and was then thrown into hell by God. This fallen angel became known as the devil, while those who followed him became demons. The impact of pride is evident in both the downfall of Satan and of Adam and Eve.

Sinful pride leads individuals to overestimate their own worth, disregarding the gifts bestowed upon them by God. This damaging form of pride forces God to the periphery of one’s spiritual, moral, and everyday life, placing the prideful individual at the center of their own universe. In the eyes of the prideful, God becomes nothing more than a tool to feed their inflated ego and desire for recognition, ultimately causing them to diminish the role of God in their achievements and take full credit for their successes.

Unlike the healthy pride of self-affirmation, sinful pride disposes a person to think more of oneself than one ought to, with no recognition of or appreciation for the gifts one has received from God.

The danger of pride is that it pushes God to the margins of one’s spiritual, moral, and temporal existence, putting the prideful person at the moral centre. If God exists at all to the prideful person, it is only to gratify one’s ego and sense of importance. Pride causes a person to negate God and take all credit for one’s accomplishments and works.

Although the concept of the many deadly sins is not found in scripture, the sin of pride is frequently warned against in the Bible. In the Book of Genesis, the serpent tempts Eve in the Garden of Eden by appealing to pride and envy, with the promise that she “will be like God, knowing good and evil” after eating the forbidden fruit. A famous proverb in the Old Testament cautions, “Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall” (Proverbs 16:18). Conversely, multiple references in the New Testament quote Jesus’s advice on the virtue of humility, “All who exalt themselves will be humbled, and all who humble themselves will be exalted” (Gospel According to Matthew 23:12).
These questions of evil and fault create a problem. The problem of evil, raises fundamental questions.
Seeks to challenge the nature and existence of a loving and all-powerful God in the face of suffering, examining whether the creator and supreme being would permit such pain to exist. This argument is often used in atheist reasoning, questioning to problem why an abundance of evil coexists with a supposedly omnipotent and benevolent God.  The argument posits that if God is both all-powerful and all-good, then evil should not exist. Yet, the reality of evil in the world challenges this notion, leading to skepticism about the existence of such a supreme being. This argument encompasses both moral evil, stemming from human actions, and natural evil, arising from natural disasters and diseases.
What do you think? While some find this argument simplistic, considering cases where removing one evil may lead to another or where a particular evil may bring about greater good. The presence of evil is often seen as evidence against God’s existence, conflicting with arguments, causing many to question why. Ultimately, the evidence suggests a morally neutrality rather than the traditional described God of theistic religions. What does God tell us to do with money?

Biblical teachings on money stress the importance of wisely managing our resources and keeping them in their proper perspective. It is crucial to prioritize love for God and others above material wealth, ensuring that money is used as a tool for aiding those in need and spreading the message of Jesus to those who have not yet encountered it. By fulfilling this responsibility, we can align our financial decisions with our faith and contribute to a more compassionate and fulfilling society.
In the midst of your daily struggles and the anticipation of what each day will bring, hold onto the promise that the LORD will bestow blessings upon you in the land He has prepared for you. Stay true to His teachings and walk in His ways to be recognized as His chosen people. Let contentment fill your heart, free from the love of money, as you trust in the God of the universe who is always on your side. No matter how big your dreams are,

In the race to God, where do you place your priorities? Is it in chasing after wealth, success, or material possessions? Or do you prioritize home, family, and the things that truly matter? Money and troubles may come and go, but the love and support of those closest to you will always remain. Remember the importance of turning to God in times of need, seeking His forgiveness, and choosing to trust in His guidance. When the storms of life hit, remember that you are never alone – God is always there to comfort and guide you. Lives free from the love of money,

In a world consumed by the pursuit of wealth and success, it is crucial to remember the wisdom found in Lamentations: “keep our lives free from the love of money, and be content with what you have.” No matter how big your dreams are, cultivate contentment in the present moment. True fulfillment comes from appreciating what you already possess, rather than constantly striving for more. Let this be a gentle reminder to cherish the blessings that surround you, and find peace in the simplicity of gratitude. Exodus 35:35 Them hath he filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of the engraver, and of the cunning workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that do any work, and of those that devise cunning work.

We are blessed according the ALL RICHES are His: all gold and silver are mine…

Proverbs 14:14 The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself.

Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
