Grow in God's Abundant Love

God’s unconditional love for us knows no bounds, embracing us in our moments of sinfulness. Even before we were deemed deserving of His love, God’s unwavering affection for us existed. This love has been a constant presence in our lives, from before we even recognized Him, to the present moment, and will endure for all eternity. Our very purpose is to be in a deep relationship with God, as He intentionally created us with a void that only He can fill. However, our sinful nature prevents us from approaching His perfect holiness. Thus, God sent Jesus to the cross to redeem us and bridge the gap between our sinfulness and His divine purity. Romans 5:8
God’s immense love for you is unparalleled. He sacrificed His only Son so that those who have faith in Him will have everlasting life. Remember, God’s love for you is immeasurable.

God so dearly loved and greatly prized the world that He gave up His only begotten Son so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

What stood out to you as you read those words just now? You are known to God and He wants you with Him now, you are ‘dearly loved’ and ‘greatly prized’. It’s amazing to feel how valued and especially prized you are. Remember, you are, all of you cherished now!

BEARING FRUIT IN GOD'S LOVE

1 John 4:19 reveals the profound truth that God’s love for us came first, initiating a powerful bond that we reciprocate. This love is not vague or distant but rather a deeply personal and sacrificial affection that was demonstrated through Jesus shedding His blood on the cross over two millennia ago. This undeniable truth serves as a reminder of the unwavering love that God has for each of us individually.
Matthew 22:37-39 Love God and love people are the two most valuable things in life. These commandments may seem simple, but they require compassion, obedience, grace, and mercy to truly live out.
1 Corinthians 13:13: God’s love is the greatest gift

“So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” In the previous chapter, Paul discussed spiritual gifts with the Corinthian Christians who were competitive and sought superiority. He emphasized that all gifts are equally important, but the key lies in the heartfelt intention behind them. Love is the guiding force that should be present when using these gifts towards one another, transcending any notions of hierarchy or comparison.

John 15:9-17 God’s love produces good fruit in us

“As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. These things I command you, that ye love one another.”

Grace Over Flowing

Surrendering our lives to God allows us to be filled with His love and reflect it to others. Spending quality time in His presence reveals His fruit in our lives, leading to transformation as we deepen our relationship with Jesus.

John 14:6

1 Corinthians 13:1-3, “And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.”
also known as the “Love Chapter,” emphasizes the importance of love in all aspects of life.

It highlights that love is essential for any actions or words to have true significance, no matter how impressive they may seem.

Without love, even the most extraordinary gifts or sacrifices lose their value.

This passage urges individuals to prioritize love above all else, as it is the foundation of genuine relationships and a reflection of God’s love for us.

Experience the Overflow of GOD'S ABUNDANT GRACE

As integral parts of the body of Jesus, the Church universal, it is crucial that each component fulfills its role in unity. It is imperative to remember that love not only forms the foundation of our actions and existence but also serves as the ultimate goal. Love unites us, directing our efforts and molding our lives towards deeper connections and mutual understanding.
The concept of ‘agape’ love highlighted in these verses emphasizes a dedicated commitment to nurturing and supporting others, mirroring God’s unfailing love for humanity. This divine love transcends the natural realm, showcasing its supernatural nature.
To truly understand God, we must have a deep connection with Jesus, who proclaimed, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

In His love for us, God provided this path to reach Him, making it clear that Jesus is the sole gateway to God.

This verse decisively reveals the way to find God.

GOD IS LOVE

1 John 4:16-18,  the most famous passage about God’s love for us, assures us that we can have confidence in God’s love and that perfect love drives out fear. By dwelling in God’s love, we can experience peace and security, knowing that He is always with us. This passage serves as a reminder that God’s love is constant and unwavering, providing us with the strength and courage to face any challenges that come our way.

“And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.”
God is love, and those who dwell in love abide in God, and God abides in them. Continuing in love is synonymous with continuing in God. Therefore, expressing love for God and others is the key to spiritual growth in the Lord.

Let God's Perfect Love Conquer Fear!

Deepen your connection with God by immersing yourself in His presence, allowing His love to envelop you completely. As you dwell in Him, find solace in Him, and cultivate a conscious awareness of His existence, you will be strengthened in the unwavering assurance of His profound love for you.
John 10:10: “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” Step into a deeper connection with God, where abundant life awaits. Embrace the teachings of Jesus, your Shepherd, who brings fulfillment and satisfaction to your journey. Let go of the thief’s destructive ways and embrace the abundant life that is meant for you. Through faith and guidance, you can truly experience the richness of life that God has in store for you.
Hebrews 4:15-16 reminds us that Jesus, our high priest, understands our struggles and temptations because He experienced them too, yet remained sinless. With this in mind, we are encouraged to approach the throne of grace confidently, where we can receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

God's Perfect High Priest

Jesus, in His infinite compassion and understanding, knows our weaknesses intimately as He too experienced pain and despair during His earthly journey. We are graciously welcomed to approach the throne of grace, where mercy and grace await us in our times of need, not because we are flawless or sinless – an unattainable feat. Rather, it is because Jesus, seated at the right hand of the Father, serves as our High Priest advocating on our behalf. Through His sacrifice on the cross, He has settled the debt of our sins, offering us a path to redemption and everlasting grace.
Above all, remember to continue showing sincere love to one another, because love has the power to forgive and overlook a multitude of sins. 1 Peter 4:8:
Is your love for God and people burning so intensely that even the enemy, satan, cannot touch you? We have discussed how satan seeks to destroy our lives by finding weaknesses in our spiritual armor. When we are fully enveloped in Christ and passionately loving Him and others, our spiritual armor remains strong and impenetrable. This deep love leads to obedience to God, enabling us to love others actively and approach life with a forgiving heart.

EMBRACING FAITH OVER FEAR

2 Timothy 1:7 emphasizes that God has given us a spirit characterized by power, love, and self-control. Written by the Apostle Paul to Timothy during his time in a Roman jail, these letters serve as a source of practical advice and encouragement for Timothy, a young leader under Paul’s mentorship. Despite the challenging living conditions and persecution faced by Christians, Paul reminds Timothy of his identity in Christ, empowering him to stand strong and resilient in his ministry.
We reflect on the depth of our identity in Christ and how, by tapping into God’s power, we have the ability to intentionally choose faith over fear, embodying the essence of love as stated in 1 John 4:8-10. Through this love, God’s ultimate expression was revealed to us by sending His only Son to earth, granting us the opportunity to live abundantly through Him. This love surpasses all earthly understanding, offering a path of light and hope amidst any darkness we may encounter.
When we truly know God, His love naturally radiates from within us onto those around us. Loving others is a visible sign of our relationship with God. As we walk with Him as His children, His sacrificial and unique love pours out of us to touch the lives of others.

How Can I Be Sure of God's Unconditional Love?

Discover the profound impact of God’s unwavering and all-encompassing love through the following scriptures that will reinforce the truth of His intentional and unconditional affection for you.
Isaiah 54:10: God’s unconditional love is a promise to you of His compassion. God’s unconditional love for you is an unbreakable promise of His deep compassion, ensuring that His steadfast love will remain with you always, even if the mountains shift and the hills are no longer there. Rest assured that His covenant of peace will never be taken away, as the Lord continuously shows His compassion towards you.
The Lord promises that His steadfast love and covenant of peace will never depart from you, as He has compassion on you. God’s unconditional love is unchanging and His compassion led Him to provide a way for you to have a relationship with Him through the cross. By staying hidden in Him, you will find peace in the midst of any storm.

GOD'S UNCONDITIONAL LOVE: MERCIFUL AND GRACIOUS

But you, O Lord, are a God who shows great mercy and kindness, displaying patience and overflowing with unwavering love and loyalty. His unwavering love is always there to lead us in the right direction.
Zephaniah 3:17 reveals the depth of God’s love for you – He is present with you, ready to save and protect. His joy and gladness overflow as He lovingly watches over you, bringing peace to your heart. With a heart full of love, He celebrates you with songs of exultation.

Sons and Daughters of God

God’s unconditional love for you is a source of great joy! Your savior, the Lord your God, rejoices over you with immense happiness. He is so delighted with you that He chooses to forget your sins completely. If you have already confessed your sins, there is no need to feel guilty anymore. Embrace the fact that you are truly loved and valued by God! When this scripture is translated into Hebrew, it paints a beautiful image of how God perceives you. It describes God as “spinning around” with joy over you, singing and shouting in celebration of who you are.
God’s unconditional love allows you to call Him Papa (Abba). He desires for us to approach Him with faith and embrace His loving presence, as we are His beloved children. The world may not understand this relationship if they do not know Him personally.
Romans 8:1-4 is an incredible testament to the boundless love between believers in Jesus Christ and God. We are free from condemnation through Christ Jesus and His sacrifice, breaking the chains of sin and death. God’s act of sending His Son to fulfill the law in our place reveals the depth of His love for us. Embracing this love leads to a life of abundance and fruitfulness that God has specially designed for each of us to walk in.

Accepted and Chosen

Romans 8:31-32 In God’s unconditional love, we are fully accepted and specifically chosen by Him, demonstrating His unwavering support and protection in our lives.

The sacrificial act of God giving His Son for our sake showcases His abundant grace, promising to provide us with all that we need in His perfect timing and abundance.

In God’s unconditional love, we are accepted and chosen.

Remember that you are valued and cherished by the Divine, embraced as a precious child of the universe.

Knowing this, why let the opinions of others hold power over you?

Trust in the unwavering love and approval of God, and let it be the guiding force in your life.

ETERNAL PROMISES

Deuteronomy 7:9: “Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations.” God’s unchanging love for you is everlasting and unwavering. He is the reliable God who upholds His promises and demonstrates loyal love to those who remain devoted to Him and obey His commands, across countless generations.
In His unwavering love for you, God remains faithful beyond measure. Moses shared this powerful message with the Israelites, proclaiming God’s faithfulness for a thousand generations. With each generation spanning about 50 years, this incredible promise translates to approximately 50,000 years of God’s steadfastness. Such enduring loyalty from the Almighty is truly awe-inspiring and humbling.

Embrace the Overflowing Love of God

Pray fervently for your cherished ones to experience and comprehend the unending love of God through faith, allowing Christ to reside in their hearts. May they be firmly rooted and established in this love, gaining the strength to grasp the immeasurable dimensions of Christ’s love, surpassing all understanding. Let them be filled with the fullness of God, embracing His boundless love that transcends human knowledge.
Pray for your loved ones to experience God’s unconditional love. These powerful bible verses, written by Paul as a prayer for the Christians in Ephesus, are a perfect way to intercede for your friends and family. It is truly a blessing to pray that those you care about understand the immeasurable love of Christ in its fullness. I make it a habit to lift them up in prayer, including myself, seeking for this profound revelation to touch their hearts deeply. Ephesians 3:17-19

EMBRACE GOD'S ETERNAL LOVE

Ephesians 1:5-6 reveals that God, out of His unconditional love for us, has a deep desire to adopt us as His own.

He has predestined us for adoption as His sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the purpose of His will, all to bring praise to His glorious grace.

This blessing has been lavished upon us in the Beloved after the Spirit.

God demonstrates His unwavering love for us by expressing His desire to embrace us as His own through adoption.

Throughout our exploration of biblical verses on God’s unconditional love, a clear pattern emerges – His constant invitation for us to become His cherished children is a testament to His boundless affection.

Why does God want to adopt us?

God is Holy. God’s love for us led Him to create man, desiring a relationship and fellowship with us. We are designed to worship our loving heavenly Father, but our natural sinfulness severed that connection. The only way to restore our relationship with God was through the sacrifice of Jesus, His Son, who died on the cross to atone for our sins and bridge the gap between God’s holiness and our imperfection.
God’s desire to adopt us as His children stems from His love and holiness, seeking a relationship and fellowship with us. Despite our sinful nature, God sent His Son, Jesus, to bridge the gap between His holiness and us by paying for our sins with His blood on the cross. We are created to worship a loving, heavenly Father who extends His unconditional love to us.

GODS' LOVE IS ETERNAL

1 Chronicles 16:34: God’s unwavering and everlasting love knows no bounds, remaining a constant source of comfort and reassurance in our lives.

“Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever!”

This verse beautifully captures David’s gratitude towards God, showcasing his deep connection as a man after God’s own heart. Despite his past mistakes, David experienced firsthand the boundless mercy and unwavering love of God. This same mercy and love are available to you as well. Remember, God loves you unconditionally and is always on your side.

God’s unwavering and infinite love remains constant throughout eternity, guiding us with grace and compassion in every moment of our lives.

Tap Into The Power Of Divine Love

1 John 4:7-8: Unconditional Love only comes from God. Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Let us continue to love one another because love comes from God, which is unconditional. Maybe today is a good day to have a heart check. Do you love people unconditionally? I do think that I do, but I do yearn to love better.
Psalm 36:7: God’s unconditional love is unfailing!

“How precious is your steadfast love, O God! The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow of your wings.”

God’s unwavering love is like a mother goose sheltering her goslings, providing refuge and protection under her wings. As the mother goose nurtures and guides her young with tenderness and care, so too does God watch over and embrace you in His eternal and unchanging love. Just as the mother goose ensures the safety and well-being of her goslings, God’s love for you is constant, unwavering, and everlasting, always present to comfort and guide you through life’s journey.

Galatians 2:20: Because of the unconditional love of God you will live a powerful life

“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

Because of God’s unconditional love, you can lead a powerful life. Jesus Christ sacrificed Himself for you so that you can tap into the power of the Holy Spirit and fulfill your true potential. By inviting the Holy Spirit to work alongside you, you can submit areas of your life that require transformation.

ETERNAL EMBRACE: A Love That Never Fades

Romans 8:38-39: Nothing can separate you from the unconditional love of God. Rest assured, God’s unconditional love for you knows no bounds.
“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord”.

Nothing can ever separate you from the unwavering love of God! God remains by your side through all your struggles, making His love an unbreakable bond that nothing, absolutely nothing, can sever.

GOD'S LOVE IS UNWAVERING

Discover the unwavering love of God as revealed in the Bible. God’s love is unconditional, always present, and ready to embrace us, no matter what. While justice and righteousness accompany His love, rest assured that His love for us remains unchanged. Embrace this truth and remember that God’s love is not based on our actions, but freely given to all. Delve deeper into the scriptures on God’s unconditional love.
Ephesians 2:8-10 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. Romans 3:23

In our own words, Ephesians 2:8–9 teaches us that we are saved by grace, not by our own efforts. Through faith, we are rescued from sin, death, and judgment, not through good deeds for rewards, but by accepting the gift of salvation.

Understanding God's Unconditional Love

Embrace the Fullness of Your Salvation

Discover the profound truth that God’s acceptance is not based on your performance but on His boundless love and mercy.

What does the Bible say about God’s unconditional love? The Bible teaches in Matthew 5:45 that God’s love is unconditional, as He causes the sun to rise on both the evil and the good, and sends rain on both the just and the unjust. This demonstrates that God’s love is not based on who we are or what we have done, but is freely given to all. Through His divine rescue plan known as the Gospel: “The Too Good To Be True News, God continues to express His unwavering and unconditional love for humanity.

Breaking the Chains of Misconception

God's Acceptance is Not Performance-Based

Many Christians believe that they must achieve a certain level of holiness to be accepted by God. This misconception leads to a constant fear of rejection and a performance-oriented faith. However, the truth is that God’s love and acceptance are not contingent on our actions. He loves us because of who He is, not because of what we do. This liberating truth frees us from the burden of trying to earn God’s favor and allows us to fully embrace His grace.

No one is immune to doubt. It can and does happen to us all. We’ve just got to know how to handle it when it comes. Even the greatest men and women of God recorded in the Bible had to deal with doubt. Jesus said of John the Baptist, “Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist” (Matt. 11:11). That means John was greater in the sight of Jesus than Abraham, Joseph, Moses, David, or any Old Testament character you can name. Yet John doubted the most important thing of all by questioning whether Jesus was really the Christ (Matt. 11:2-3).
Many of us have Bibles that sit untouched, while some carry them. When struggling with doubt, we seek something tangible and emotional, a comforting touch from Jesus reassuring us that everything will be okay. However, true faith is found in the Word of God (Romans 10:17), not just in temporary comfort.
What are the four marks of God’s unconditional love? There are four marks of unconditional love: it is unfailing, unrestricted, steadfast, and productive. God’s love for you is unconditional and undeserved. He loves you despite your disobedience, weakness, sin, and selfishness. His love is more than enough to provide a pathway to abundant, eternal life.

CONNECTING WITH GOD'S UNFAILING LOVE

Feel a longing for a deeper connection with the divine. Embrace a sacred dissatisfaction that fuels your spiritual growth. Call upon God to guide your heart towards His boundless love. Let this prayer resonate within you. Fix your gaze upon the unconditional love of God revealed through Jesus Christ, and let it transform your soul.
Psalm 86:15 – The Lord is compassionate, showing deep empathy and understanding towards His people, and gracious, bestowing undeserved favor and kindness upon them. He is slow to anger, displaying patience and forgiveness, always ready to offer second chances. His love is abundant, overflowing with care and affection towards all. God, in His unconditional love, is truly merciful and gracious, demonstrating endless compassion and generosity towards His creation.
Ephesians 3:17-19

That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

In Ephesians 4:1-6, Paul encourages the-one-true-church to embody the unity that God has established through Christ. The church is a cohesive community, united by a seven-fold oneness: one body, one Spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father. This unity is a divine work of God.

I place my trust in Your steadfast love, knowing that it will guide me through any challenges I may face. Thank you for Your unending grace and mercy.

~Amen

Paul teaches us in Romans 5:15 that God’s grace is a gift, not earned by our actions, bringing us freedom from fear and empowering us to walk boldly in faith. Through baptism into Christ’s death, we leave behind our old selves and embrace a new life in Him. Remember to begin each day with prayer and scripture, focusing on your identity in Christ. Understanding God's Grace

God's Love: Unconditional and Unwavering

Have you taken a moment to ponder the incredible transformation that occurs when we embrace Jesus as our Savior? It truly is awe-inspiring to witness our entire essence undergo a profound renewal, starting from within and radiating outward. The power of His love and grace transcends all boundaries, reshaping us in ways we never thought possible.
God loves you unconditionally because His very nature is love (1 John 4:8), not based on anything you do or possess. He loves you not because you are lovely, but because love is at the core of who He is. His love for you is unwavering, limitless, and everlasting.
Religion is often the main vehicle that perpetuates the misconception of God’s love being contingent on our actions. Many churches preach that if we fulfill certain obligations such as praying, attending services, or giving tithes, then we are deserving of God’s love and blessings. However, this notion is far from the truth. Satan employs various strategies to prevent us from recognizing the depth of God’s love. One of the most insidious tactics he uses is convincing us that we must earn God’s love through our achievements. This distorted perspective leads us to believe that we need to prove our worthiness to receive God’s love, but this contradicts the teachings of the Bible.
One of the most incredible benefits of our salvation is the ability to hear God’s personal message to us. A close relationship with our heavenly Father hinges on this communication. While speaking to Him might come naturally, many struggle to hear His voice clearly. This goes against the Lord’s intentions. Learning to discern God’s voice brings invaluable wisdom, allowing His guidance to shape and safeguard your life. Every individual receiving this message has the potential for a life-altering transformation by enhancing their ability to hear the voice of the Lord. A simple word from Him can completely turn around the most challenging marital situations, bring instant healing to sickness or disease, and provide a solution for financial crises. It all comes down to tuning in and hearing His voice.

Dismantling the Old Covenant Mentality

Many believers live under the misconception that their old sinful nature still holds power over them.

This outdated mindset can hinder spiritual growth and keep you from experiencing the fullness of your new life in Jesus. When you accept Jesus your spirit is twinned with the Holy Ghost creating the masterpiece God intended all along.

Understanding that you have been freed from an old fallen nature is crucial.

This foundational shift in your thinking brings about a radical transformation, enabling you to live well now while walking in the freedom and victory that Jesus intended.

Your Old Man is Dead and Gone

Born-from-above you are indwelled by the Holy Spirit and are a New Creature in Jesus.

Walk in the Light

Radiant Pathways

Isn’t it amazing that our God sees us as spotless, pure, and completely transformed through Him?

God’s promise of forgiveness and mercy, as stated in Hebrews 8:12, serves as a beacon of hope and restoration for all who seek His grace and love.

If you continue to believe in the power of your old self as a born-again believer, it will hinder the transformative work Jesus intends for your life and impede your spiritual growth.

Your internal thoughts shape your external reality, so viewing yourself as unchanged from your pre-rebirth self will only reinforce negative patterns.

BREAK FREE FROM SIN'S BONDAGE

Stop dwelling on past mistakes, forgive yourself, and focus on moving forward. Avoid condemning yourself, as it only adds to the burden of what has already happened. Guilt is a futile attempt to atone for what has already been forgiven.

Acknowledge your actions, take responsibility, and seek support to find spiritual guidance.

Enslavement was once our reality, bound to sin and unable to break free from its hold while we were dead in our sins.

However, Jesus’ victory over death and resurrection has released us from sin’s power, allowing us to now live holy lives by God’s grace.

Recognize that your true identity has been renewed, and embrace the truth that you are a new creation in Jesus, free from the bondage of past sins.

While you may still stumble as a Child of God, sin is not your essence; God sees you as entirely new in your spirit.

By understanding this, you can confidently stand before God, knowing that your spirit is sealed and untainted by sin.

Here’s the key: the choice we have is ongoing and everlasting. We must continually decide to align with our newfound nature in Christ or revert to our familiar, but detrimental, habits and thought patterns. It is essential to consistently renew our minds and confidently step into our new identity, fully embracing the guidance and wisdom that comes with it.

EMBRACE YOUR TRUE POTENTIAL

Paul used a brilliant analogy of marriage to explain our relationship with the Law. When we were bound by the Law, it was like being married to a strict spouse—represented by our “old man.” However, when our “old man” died, we were married to another, so loving—Christ, symbolizing a new beginning and freedom from the constraints of the past.

As believers, we must grasp the profound truth that we are entirely new creations in spirit. This transformation allows us to connect with God on a spirit-to-Spirit level, mirroring Jesus in our spiritual essence.

FOUNDATION RENEWED

And as the sabbath came to an end, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome purchased fragrant spices to anoint him. In the early hours of the first day of the week, they arrived at the tomb as the sun began to rise, wondering who would help them move the large stone blocking the entrance. To their surprise, the stone had already been rolled away, and inside the tomb, they encountered a young man in a white garment who assured them not to be afraid, for Jesus of Nazareth, who had been crucified, had risen from the dead. Instructed to inform his disciples, they left the tomb trembling and amazed, hesitant to share the news due to fear. Jesus appeared first to Mary Magdalene, followed by other disciples, some of whom doubted his resurrection until they witnessed him themselves. After exhorting them to spread the gospel worldwide, he ascended into heaven, while his followers continued to preach with his divine assistance, performing miraculous signs as confirmation. Amen.
On the morning after the Sabbath, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to the tomb. Suddenly, there was a powerful earthquake as an angel descended from heaven, rolling away the stone and sitting on it. The angel’s appearance was radiant, causing the guards to tremble in fear. The angel assured the women not to be afraid, revealing that Jesus, who was crucified, had risen from the dead just as he had promised. The women were instructed to go quickly and tell the disciples that Jesus had risen and would meet them in Galilee. Overwhelmed with fear and joy, the women hurried to share the news with the disciples.
As they went to inform the disciples, Jesus appeared to them, greeting them warmly. They held onto his feet and worshiped him. Jesus reassured them not to be afraid and instructed them to go to Galilee to see him. Subsequently, some of the watch reported to the chief priests about the events that had transpired, leading to a scheme involving money being paid to soldiers to spread false information about his disciples stealing his body. This deception persisted among the Jewish community to this day.
Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. And when they saw him, they worshipped him, acknowledging his divine power and presence. Jesus, filled with authority, spoke to them, proclaiming his supremacy over all realms. He instructed them to go forth and spread his teachings to all nations, baptizing in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. They were tasked with guiding others to follow his commands, with the assurance of his everlasting presence until the end of time. Amen.
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
The instruction in Matthew 28:19 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in [‘into,’ Greek eis] the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:”
…suggests that believers should receive teachings about God the Father, His Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit before undergoing baptism to deepen their understanding and faith in the divine trinity. Learning about each of these entities prior to baptism can enrich the believers’ spiritual journey and strengthen their relationship with the holy trinity. It highlights the importance of knowledge and awareness of the fundamental aspects of faith before taking such a significant step in their religious commitment.
Keep in mind the fundamental principle that the Bible or the Word is its own interpreter and The Holy Spirit the witness. This passage highlights the significance of the triune nature of God during the act of baptism and pur becoming part of His family. It emphasizes the role of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in this sacred process, rather than attempting to define the essence of God.

DIVINE CONNECTIONS

Notice Acts 2:38 teaches that through repentance, baptism in the name of Jesus, and the laying on of hands by a minister, one can receive the Holy Spirit as a direct gift from God, as seen in Scripture (Acts 8:14-17). This process signifies a deep spiritual transformation and connection to the divine presence, leading to a life guided by faith and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
Important as it is, baptism alone is not sufficient. We must receive God’s Holy Spirit—the seed of eternal life—which is imparted by the biblically mandated laying on of hands of one of God’s ministers (Acts 19:1-6). We cannot partake of God’s nature, as mentioned in 2 Peter 1:4, without first being begotten of the Father by the Holy Spirit, which imparts that divine nature. It is through this process of receiving the Holy Spirit that we are able to truly connect with the divine and experience the transformative power of God’s love in our lives, guiding us towards a path of righteousness and spiritual fulfillment.
As we reflect on the significance of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in Matthew 28:19, it becomes evident that through baptism, we establish a profound covenant with God the Father. The divine sacrifice of Jesus, the Son of God, serves as the foundation for this sacred bond. Through our sincere repentance and baptism, we also cultivate a personal relationship with Jesus through the Spirit as our esteemed elder Brother and the esteemed leader of the one true church universal. Ultimately, it is through the workings of the Holy Spirit that the Father and Son orchestrate the fulfillment of this meaningful connection.

UNVEILING DIVINE MYSTERIES

On a deeper level, it is God the Father who lovingly calls us to the sacrament of baptism, inviting us to embrace a transformed way of living (John 6:44, John 6:65). It is through His infinite goodness that we are moved to repentance and choose to be baptized, marking a profound reconnection with Him (Romans 2:4). We are reminded that the sacrificial death of Jesus serves as the ultimate atonement for our sins, restoring our relationship with God (Romans 5:6-11). Through baptism, we symbolically share in Jesus’ burial and rise to a new life with Him, both in the present and in anticipation of the future resurrection (Romans 6:1-5). Furthermore, it is the indwelling presence of God’s Holy Spirit, as elaborated in later teachings, that confirms our identity as His beloved children (Romans 8:16).
The instruction in Matthew 28:19 emphasizes the importance of believers learning about God the Father, His Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit before undergoing baptism. By doing so, believers establish a deep, personal connection with God and Jesus through the Holy Spirit, thereby embracing their true identity as children of God (see Ephesians 3:14-15). This sacred act of baptism marks the beginning of a spiritual journey filled with love, faith, and divine guidance for those who choose to follow in the footsteps of Jesus.
Keep in mind that while Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are referenced in this process, it is essential to note that not all three are necessarily divine individuals in a Trinity. To assume that Matthew 28:19 solidifies the concept of one God in three persons extends beyond the explicit words of the verse. Furthermore, other scriptures serve to debunk such a belief as entirely untrue.

Proverbs 26:17 (KJV)
He that passeth by, and meddleth with strife belonging not to him, Is like one that taketh a dog by the ears.

Proverbs 24:23 (KJV)
These things also belong to the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment.

Isaiah 8:1 (KJV)
Moreover the LORD said unto me, Take thee a great roll, and write in it with a man’s pen concerning Mahershalalhashbaz.

When passing by, avoid getting involved in unnecessary conflicts not meant for you, as it can result in trouble just like grabbing a dog by its ears. The wise understand the importance of not showing favoritism in making judgments. Additionally, the LORD instructed to write down important information concerning Mahershalalhashbaz with a man’s pen.

What is the lesson learned from Isaiah 8? The Lord’s warning to Isaiah emphasizes the importance of honoring God and avoiding fear. Those who turn away from God will drift into deeper sin, but Isaiah and his family remain steadfast in pointing towards God’s faithfulness. Those who reject God’s guidance will find themselves trapped in frustration and despair. Through Isaiah’s example, we are reminded of the power of faith and the consequences of rejecting divine wisdom.
God’s message through Isaiah emphasizes His dual role as both the judge of what is broken and the savior who heals and restores. Isaiah’s prophecy reveals God’s overarching plan to bring about ultimate redemption and bring all things to righteousness. Through judgment, God highlights what is amiss in the world, while through His promise, He offers hope and restoration for the future. This theme of divine judgment and healing runs through Isaiah’s teachings, underscoring the profound significance of God’s plan for reconciliation and renewal.
What does it mean the word of the Lord? The phrase “the Word of God” in Scripture refers to both the things God has said and to Jesus as a name. According to John’s gospel, it states, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” This highlights the significance and divinity of Jesus the Son as the Word of God.
The biblical meaning of the Lord encompasses the entirety of God’s character and essence. Referred to as our rock, refuge, fortress, shepherd, king, and redeemer, the Lord embodies qualities of mercy, kindness, and compassion as revealed in the Bible. Through these attributes, the Lord demonstrates His unwavering care and love for His people.
What is the spiritual significance of the term “Lord”? In both the Old and New Testaments, the divine figures of Jehovah and Christ are commonly referred to as Lord, embodying the essence of spiritual man. Lord serves as a symbolic representation of one of the core attributes of spiritual beings, indicating their inherent rulership over themselves, their faculties, and the world around them.
The term “God” originates from the early Germanic language and has evolved over centuries. Its earliest written form can be traced back to the 6th-century Christian Codex Argenteus. In English, the word is derived from the Proto-Germanic *ǥuđan, with its roots likely based on the Proto-Indo-European form *ǵhu-tó-m. This ancient word was linked to the concept of “calling” or “invoking,” reflecting the reverence and spiritual significance associated with the deity known as God.

EMBRACE YOUR UNIQUE MINISTRY JOURNEY

The concept of the Five Fold Ministry, as outlined in Ephesians 4:11, consists of the five essential roles that God has designated for Christians to fulfill: apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. YOUR POTENTIAL: FIND YOUR CALLING TODAY

Discovering your calling from God is a journey of self-exploration and alignment with His will. Start by identifying where you are currently, envision a calling that is in line with God’s grand plan for you, make decisions that are guided by His will, and take deliberate steps with prayer as your guide. Be mindful of any obstacles that may hinder your calling and work to overcome them with faith and perseverance.

EXPLORE YOUR DIVINE CALLING

If you feel a deep love for God and a strong desire to serve Him, it could be a sign that you are being called into ministry. This passion often includes a longing to share God’s love with others, help them grow in their faith, and guide them on their spiritual journey, indicating a potential calling to minister to others.

Ephesians 4:11 (KJV)
And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

GOD'S CALLING AND GROWTH

Discovering how to fulfill God’s calling involves various aspects of growth in your life and ministry. God shapes you as you immerse yourself in studying Scripture and seek Him earnestly in prayer. The internal witness of the Holy Spirit guides you on this journey, while the books you read enrich your understanding and perspective. Additionally, the people you encounter play a significant role in your development and growth towards fulfilling your purpose.

Embracing Unity Within the Community

You know if you join now with your true heart, if we come together to build strong communities, each person will find their rightful place and purpose under the sun. It is a gift from God that we must embrace and nurture. Together, we can create a supportive network where everyone is valued and cared for. You are not alone in this journey; we all need each other’s help and support. Belonging is essential, and it is God’s will that you find your place among us. You are unique and valuable, and you will soon realize your true worth. Embrace the community, for it is within you to thrive and grow.

EMBRACE YOUR DIVINE DESTINY

Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified
Being called by the gospel is a divine invitation that ensures a response, as Paul indicates in Romans 8:30 that all those who are “called” are also “justified.” This calling has the power to rescue us from the darkness and usher us into God’s kingdom, where we can partake in intimate communion with Him.

UNLEASH YOUR INNER FIRE

How can I discover my true calling in life? One way is to listen to your inner compass and trust your instincts. It’s important to push past your comfort zone and try new experiences to see what resonates with you. Pay attention to how your body reacts to different activities and take note of any recurring dreams or moments that feel like signs from the universe. Embrace self-expression in whatever form feels most authentic to you. By following these steps, you can begin to uncover your true passion and purpose in life.

FEELING STUCK IN YOUR CURRENT ROLE?

Are you feeling like your current station is not fulfilling your true potential? Do you long for a sense of purpose and meaning in your work? Many people find themselves stuck in roles that do not align with their passions and talents, merely providing a paycheck. If you are seeking a calling rather than just another job, it may be time to explore new opportunities that resonate with your spirit and allow you to make a meaningful impact.
Most individuals dedicate a significant portion of their lives to work, with the right job allowing them to utilize their unique talents to create a positive impact. Conversely, being in a mismatched position can lead to immense hardship that permeates all aspects of life. While striving to discover a vocation that resonates with you, it’s crucial to recognize that your occupation is not your primary calling. A clear differentiation exists between your “primary calling” to walk in the footsteps of Jesus and your “secondary callings,” encompassing various life roles such as work. The Bible emphasizes that work is not the central calling; there are no instances of individuals being summoned specifically to paid employment. Ultimately, before being called to a task, we are first called to Someone, highlighting the significance of who we are over what we do.
Our main purpose is to cultivate a personal relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ, as the Bible instructs us to be in fellowship with His Son. Our primary calling is not dependent on our occupation, as God values us for who we are, not just for what we can achieve through work. Your vocational calling is a secondary one, a divine invitation to utilize your talents in various aspects of life. Remember, these secondary callings are important, but it is our primary calling that holds the utmost significance, guiding us in our pursuit of work that aligns with our gifts and provides a deep sense of purpose and meaning.

DISCOVER YOUR VOCATIONAL CALLING

Discovering your vocational calling involves taking action, steps to get a thing and embracing a proven path guided by God. He calls you to fulfill your purpose and partner with Him on this spiritual journey of self-discovery. Through prayerful movement forward, you will uncover new insights about yourself and strengthen your relationship with the Lord.
1. To embark on the journey of discovering and living your calling, start by pinpointing your current position. Then take immediate action by identifying a specific step you can take today. Uncover the various dimensions of your unique God-given design, such as your most cherished transferable skills, core values, personality traits, preferred roles, interests that drive you, and spiritual gifts. Understand your design through personal experiences, input from others, and career evaluations. Utilizing reliable career assessments can efficiently assist in organizing and revealing crucial information about your design.
2. Collaborate with others to explore how your talents can make a difference in the world. Push yourself to envision ambitious goals that can only be achieved with divine guidance. Research various professions and influential figures to broaden your perspective on your unique calling from God.

Allow yourself to dream big and open your mind to the possibilities of God’s calling in your life. Many individuals limit themselves with small aspirations, guided by fear, lack of vision, and mundane worries. God challenges us to take on tasks and roles that surpass our own abilities, allowing His power to manifest in our lives. Embrace the divine opportunities that await you and witness the remarkable ways in which God’s presence can shape your journey.

3. Learn how to actively engage in discerning and aligning your decisions with God’s purpose for your life and the unique gifts He has given you. Your calling is not a passive occurrence but requires your intentional participation in partnership with God. Embracing your calling involves the ongoing process of making informed, faith-based decisions that reflect a deep understanding of biblical principles, leading to spiritual growth and maturity.
4. Take intentional and prayerful action towards fulfilling your purpose and living out the calling that God has placed on your life. By developing personal mission statements, setting achievable goals that align with your passions, and creating a detailed action plan, you can take practical steps towards fulfilling the unique destiny that God has in store for you. Commit to taking purposeful action and watch as God uses you to impact the world around you.
5. Identify and overcome anything in your life. Obstacles that hinder you in discovering and living your calling. Fear of change is one of the most common blocks, and is the number one reason most people aren’t doing what God calls them to do. While fear is normal when you are contemplating making changes in your life, it is not an excuse for inaction. God never calls us to camp out indefinitely in our comfort zone! Instead, he calls us to step out in faith and embrace the challenges that come our way, trusting in His guidance and strength to overcome any obstacles that may stand in our path. With God’s help, we can face our fears and move forward with confidence, knowing that we are capable of achieving all that He has called us to do.

Common obstacles such as financial constraints, busy schedules, negative thought patterns, unresolved childhood trauma, and feelings of isolation can hinder you from fulfilling your purpose. It is essential to pinpoint these barriers and utilize effective strategies to overcome them, allowing you to embrace the life designed for you by a higher power.

WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH MY LIFE?

God prods us into action in many ways. He can even use negative feelings such as discontentment and confusion, or positive emotions like energy and enthusiasm about doing something new in our lives. There also are several natural points or places we come to in our lives in which we find ourselves asking questions like “Who am I?” and “What is God calling me to do next?”

Let us know your examples and what you desire today. ask to get!

Many individuals lack exposure to a strategic, proactive approach to career planning, leaving them uncertain about the best course of action. As a result, they often engage in a haphazard search for fulfilling employment, browsing online listings, seeking advice from others, exploring various opportunities, and perhaps taking on different roles in the hopes of stumbling upon a suitable fit. Unfortunately, this scattered approach frequently leads to inconsistent decision-making, as they navigate through different job options with the aspiration of discovering a satisfying career path.

Occasionally people do find jobs that fit them with these types of actions. Many more times, however, they end up even more frustrated than before. They hit dead ends or find themselves in a job that is worse than the one they left. The desire to find God’s “calling” may fade; they just want a job that doesn’t make them miserable. They may become frustrated with God, as well, especially if they have been praying for guidance along the way. Isn’t He listening? Doesn’t He care? Why won’t He do something when all they want is to do something for Him?

First, understand that uncovering your vocational calling requires a collaborative effort between you and God. God is prepared and eager to play His part in steering you towards the work He has crafted specifically for you. However, it is essential for you to play your role as well. As St. Augustine once stated, we should pray as if everything hinges on God and work as if everything hinges on us. Merely praying for divine guidance will yield little results unless you are willing to take action! Realizing your calling demands deliberate and prayerful steps. God will not do for you what He has intended for you to do yourself. Your faith, reliance, and growth will strengthen as you dare to take initiative. The process of taking tangible steps forward will also mold you into the individual God requires you to be for the unique purpose He has mapped out for you.
Partnering with God to discover your calling can lead to a transformative journey. If you feel drawn to pursue something greater in your life or sense a divine nudge towards a new direction, it may be time to embark on a path of career change, choice, and transition. Despite past unsuccessful attempts to find your true calling, it is possible to break free from a cycle of dissatisfaction and uncover work that aligns with your unique gifts. Seeking work that resonates as a calling rather than just a job can unlock a deep sense of purpose and fulfillment in your professional journey.
One day we will all have to give an account of our lives before the Lord. Hebrews 12 is known as the “judge of faith,” documenting those who fulfilled their purpose on earth. They embraced their calling and left a lasting legacy.

God’s epic drama of redemption and reconciliation continues, unfolding before us like a never-ending story waiting for our verse to be added. The opportunity to be a part of this timeless narrative is within reach, beckoning us to step in and play our role. Embrace the chance to leave your mark on the roll call of faith, and know that it is never too late to start. In the vast chorus of believers, find your unique voice and let it be heard. God’s love extends to you, inviting you to join in the noble work of his kingdom. He calls to you through the voices around, encouraging you to rise to the challenge of fulfilling your purpose. Seize the day, make every moment count for eternity, and walk in a manner that reflects the worthiness of your divine calling, for in the grand scheme of things, nothing else holds true significance.
